Diamonds In The Sky Photography

My husband and I decided it was about time to take family photos with our 9 month old. We came across diamonds in the sky photography and just instantly connected with Joanne’s work. We live over an hour away and it was definitely worth the drive. Joanne took the time to get know us and our baby and she was so accomodating to his bad days which unfortunately fell on the days of our shoot. Regardless of all that Joanne was so understanding and patient and gave us a re-shoot, and even though he was having another rough day, she still managed to get the most amazing photos of us and our baby with him all smiles. When it came to choosing our prints we did it conveniently from home over zoom and when the prints were ready she drove all the way to us to deliver them personally. She honestly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and are definitely going to re-book with her when the time comes to it.

I worked with Joanne for our baby's 1st birthday cake smash and I could not possibly be any more happier with everything!

She was so professional and understanding, including making sure to work entirely around bubs and her moods. This also meant going in a little earlier than planned, due to her waking up from a nap at that time. As a result, we have some fantastic shots that I will forever cherish. I will definitely also be hiring Joanne again for the newborn photoshoot of baby number 2 (whenever that may be).

There is are a million positive things I could share about Joanne and her newborn photography, but fact I went back to her for our daughters cake smash without even considering looking for a different photographer a year later says it all.

She did not pressure me to spend more money than I was comfortable with. Joanne was also accommodating throughout the whole process with times and our wishes on what we wanted the photos to look like.

The photos are phenomenal and the quality is amazing.

Joanne is an absolutely beautiful person and her work speaks for itself. I recommend her to all my friends and family. I will 100% be returning to her when we have another child.

Jo is a great photographer. The whole process from booking to photos was super fast. The pictures were exactly what we wanted. Jo was super patient with my requests. The photo shoot was so much fun and Jo kept the kids entertained throughout. She spent a great deal of timing walking us through the pics, taking feedback and making changes. She hand delivered the photos. We were delighted with the whole process and would recommend her above all else. She is the best!

Joanne was amazing from my very first interaction with her through to the final handover of my photos. Due to the fact that my son was born in the middle of a lockdown, he ended up being 10weeks old before we could get into the studio. Joanne reassured me that whilst his photos wouldn’t be of the typical sleepy newborn kind, she was confident that she could capture him and his personality in a different way - and she absolutely did! She made my and I family feel welcome as soon as we walked in the door and we all spent an enjoyable morning with her capturing the essence of my son as well as getting some lovely family and sibling photos. Joanne is a wonderful photographer. She is really good at babies. My baby slept through at a photo shoot in Joanne's hands and she's done amazing work. My family enjoyed the whole session and the result was excellent! We sent photos to families overseas, they loved them!

Jo is absolutely lovely and made my family feel at ease for our family Christmas shots. I got exactly what I was after, and it was hard to choose my favourite shots, as they were all amazing. Will be using her again next year for some outdoor family fun shots too. Thank you!

Thankyou Joanne for another amazing photo shoot at Diamonds in the Sky Photography. This was our second visit and I absolutely adore our photos from our Mother’s Day mini session. Joanne is so wonderful with the kids and goes beyond to capture the perfect picture. After the year 2020 brought it’s wonderful to capture our family at this point in time. We were due to have a photoshoot after the opening of our new yoga shala. Knowing Joanne for a while, she was my go to photographer. Joanne handled everything so beautifully. She arrived beforehand to help decorate and set the shala up. Her charismatic approach made it so hard for us to choose from the photos, since they were all so incomparably good. Her valuable advice on the shoot made it easier to follow, quick and flawless.

We ended up getting twice the photos we had intended to get and are beyond satisfied with the end product. Joanne is not only an amazing photographer, but also a gorgeous soul who believes in capturing and cherishing the beauty that life offers.

I did my newborn baby girl photoshoot with Joanne and I am so happy with the photoshoot experience and the product quality that I believe it was the best investment I made to help me preserve the newborn memories of my daughter with me forever. Babies really grow very quickly and I would have not realised it myself as a first time mom if I had not done the photoshoot.

About the photoshoot experience:

Joanne was very welcoming and professional to adhere to the Covid rules following the stage 3 restrictions back in July 2020 with wearing masks and sanitising as much possible.
She had already did 5-6 pre-set even before we arrived at her studio and presented with the options. She took into account the color scheme and theme we had previously discussed over message and the questionnaire form.
She was very accomodating and patient especially with my baby feeding every 1 hour (aahh those newborn cluster feeding days! Lol)
I cant believe she managed to get such wonderful shots and ideas in so less time. The overall
Session was for 3 hours but I believe my daughter only co-operated for 45 min or so! Hahaha
The wraps and headbands and the boxes in which the photos were shot were wonderful and well put. The detailed captures are my favourites. Oh those lips and eye lashes and little feet! I have these photos to cherish my babies littleness forever. I can go on and on about my experience but it might outflow the allowed words!

Moving to the product experience:

Joanne worked on the soft copies and shared the gallery in her wonderfull online app. So easy to use and navigate and communicate what I liked and what needed few touches. I chose her product of 20 prints and a wooden frame. All of these were beautifully packed and delivered and amazing quality. The fine art prints are so high quality they speak for themselves.the package also included 2 wooden easels perfect to showcase those fine art prints rotating them as per my wish. They are easy to move throughout the house unlike photo frames. “Classy” is all that I can say in one word about the prints and frames and quality!
