Such great tasting food! We got the satay chicken skewers and prawn crackers for starters. The stay chicken skewers were so good we got a second helping prawn crackers are crispy and nostalgic. We got the tom yum fried noodle super yummy nice little place with good food and an intimate atmosphere
This place cannot be faulted. Absolutely delicious. Go and enjoy yourself a nice succulent Chinese meal. This post would normally be accompanied by a photo illustrating my point however the meal was devoured before I could capture the moment.

Quintessential local Chinese restaurant; affordable, delicious, and good service. Atmosphere is cosy and intimate and if you want to get takeout then you’re not missing out on quality. A true Heidelberg gem.
This was a really excellent meal, that represents quintessential Australian Chinese. The meal, while not quite authentic, represents the introduction of Chinese food to Australian palettes. The meal itself was delicious. We ordered a selection of dishes including special fried rice, sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, honey prawns and steak and black bean sauce. Each was served really hot, and a generous serving. The food itself tasted fresh, and the proteins were really well cooked. The experience is a throwback to a meal from our childhoods, and there is a joy in sharing that meal. Oh, and the fried ice-cream was a decadent but appropriate end to the meal.

… even old enough to remember when there was a record bar next-door so after we ordered off the menu and we were dining in mom and dad would let us look through the window at all the vinyl records and cassettes that we could’ve bought if we were given enough bloody pocket money!
