Diakosmos Dance Academy is a wonderfully unique dance school. Whether you aspire to be a professional dancer or dance for fun and fitness, Diakosmos nurtures every student’s creativity and talents. The teachers are incredible and the students so encouraging and supportive of each other. When my daughter wanted to explore other interests, we sadly said goodbye, but when she decided to build her dance skills some more, there was nowhere else she wanted to be. Diakosmos is not just somewhere you learn to dance. It’s a place where you build friendships, confidence, teamwork and leadership. Classes are kept small allowing teachers to really develop and bring out the best in every student. I highly recommend Diakosmos Dance Academy.

Diakosmos enrol students with a wide range of abilities (many are super stars) and from a wide age range. It provides a truly inclusive musical environment for all.
The respect between students and teachers alike is almost tangible. In their every interaction, students are taught how to prompt, encourage and 'scaffold' their peers without judgement or being bossy. Dance is FUN - when you "dance from the heart".

Our weekly Tap lessons at Diakosmos Dance Academy are very exhilarating. My sister nor I have any prior Tap dancing experience.
We are learning dance skills in a relaxed environment with an accomplished and dedicated teacher.
Each student learns at their own pace which we find liberating, your expectations are your own.
Learning Tap dancing techniques is both challenging and relaxing, as we keep fit whilst having fun in a social setting.

I never thought I would learn how to Tap Dance at the age of 58. I havent had so much fun since I started. Dianne is a friendly /funny professional Dance teacher Dianne teaches us the basic steps then we do a little routine at the end of class which is so much fun. Thanks Dianne looking forward to next years classes.

We love coming to Diakosmos Dance Academy. It's a very friendly place and has an intimate feel - there's no sense of being a number that is churned through en masse. The classes cater to each person's needs and abilities so if some need the extra challenge, there is scope for that, and if others need some extra coaxing along to catch up, that is provided too. Since my daughter began classes, three of her school friends have also joined and really enjoy it. The dance school is easy to access in a quiet, local street so parking is easy too!

Relaxed but professional dance studio. Di works so well with the kids so its always fun and they are always learning. This is an inclusive dance school and I think it's so important that all kids have a chance to show off their talents.

My daughter who is 13 years old has attended Diakosmos Dance Academy since she was six years old. She currently attends classes in jazz, hip-hop, singing and musical theatre. She loves to dance and sing and Dianne the principal has been a wonderful teacher to have nurtured this passion in her. My daughter has special needs but this has never been a hindrance at this school as everyone is included, treated as equals and with respect. I believe that by being at this dance school has been the best decision I have made for my daughter and that the development and growth that she has had would not have been able to be achieved anywhere else. I cannot be more proud of my daughter and her accomplishments and I owe all this to Dianne and her wonderful style of teaching which she conveys to all her staff at the academy. Dianne is very professional, respectful and believes that there should be no barriers to a child wishing to express their love of dancing. She truly upholds her motto of “dancing from the heart” and is able to showcase each child’s strengths. As a parent of a special needs child to be able to see the progress and what she has been able to accomplish is just amazing. Dianne and her staff are wonderful and they make all their students feel like they are superstars!
