Today I bought a beautiful pair of solovairs from these lovely people, spent a good hour in there helping me find the exact perfect pair of boots for me. Customer service was an absolute pleasure. It’s the only place I could find in Melbourne where you can try on and buy solovairs in store and it was an absolute pleasure. Murray was the sweetest employee I’ve ever met. Thanks guys!

Easily the best shoe-buying experience I’ve ever had. Alex is a great bloke and he was so helpful in making sure I got the perfect size boot. I probably took a lot longer than I needed at the store, simply because Alex is so good to chat to and he doesn’t rush you at all.

I would totally recommend Solovairs to everyone I know, and I would tell them that D’Honk is easily the best place to grab a pair.

I ordered a pair of Solovairs online from Sydney and the despatch and delivery was quick and easy. By far, the best quality shoes I've ever owned and you can see that from the big to small details. Worth every cent and I highly recommend.

This is pretty much an anonymous review but I have nothing but praise for d’Honk Scooters (at least as far as the Solovair shoes & boots go!) and the owner Alex. I’ve been a customer twice (once in person a few years back when visiting Melbourne and online earlier this year) and I’ll no doubt order again in future.

The boots & shoes are great quality and d’Honk not only have local stock that was sent quickly but importantly they are NOT marking up the prices with a special ‘Australia Tax’. Good prices, friendly owner and quality items.

Bought my first pair of solovair boots there today which are great quality and look even better in person than on the website.
Whilst I was trying them on my girlfriend liked em so much that she ended up buying a pair too.

Went in today as my partner wanted to get himself a pair of the solovair boots.
I ended up getting a pair of boots too, I'm already obsessed with them.
Alex was a stand up guy and his customer service was fabulous.
I'll definitely be stopping by again for more boots in the near future.

Deliberately rude employee with unaccountable management.

A staff member barged his way through oncoming foot traffic (inc.a woman with a pram) with a Vespa that he was bringing inside and told us "I couldn't care less".

If this staff member was already in the process of bringing the Vespa in (i.e.  he was already in the middle of the walkway) we all would have waited. However, considering we were all almost passed the storefront and he still decided to push his way through and say "I couldn't care less" was extremely rude.

Tried emailing the store about the incident privately but still haven't received a reply since Sunday.

Straight up disrespectful and disgusting behaviour.

Great service, ordered a new pair of boots and got them quickly, very friendly customer service as well.

A charming store with a lot of character. I bought my first pair of Solovair Gibsons here thanks to Alex and the friendly and attentive team who made my experience so easy and enjoyable. If you're a connoisseur in shoes, or scooters for that matter, definitely check this place out!

Absolutely brilliant service, bought solovairs from this store and recieved them in a punctual time and the wrong size return policy is really generous when buying shoes that sometimes have a tricky fit!

Despite being Italian I have no interest in scooters, but after buying a pair of boots here and experiencing the sheer joy of Alex's personality and customer service, I'm damn near inclined to go all Macklemore Downtown and buy a Moped for no reason. This is the place to come for Solovairs and (I would assume) scooters.

D'Honk is the only and best stockist of Solovair boots and shoes in Melbourne. They have a fantastic range of styles and finishes. The assistance for sizing is fantastic. Honestly I cannot recommend this store enough for anyone looking for high quality shoes that outlast Dr martens.
The owner Alex is also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Absolute legend!
