Amazing unassuming fish and chips store. Great fresh fish with a nice thin crispy batter fried to perfection. They take the effort to drain excess oil so even after a massive feed I did not have any bad aftertaste or oily feeling. Best enjoyed during sunset time down the road at Sandringham beach.

Long wait time - on a positive note, food was still warm when picked up but had been sitting on the warming shelf.

Ordered at 7: 08pm online.went in at around 7: 30pm, 15 customers in total in store waiting for their order. Ended up staying until about 8pm, was told "another 30 minutes"
Finally, after an hour and a half, we got our order. Unfortunately seemed like a clunky night for them but an hour and a half wait just seems a bit long (and majority of our order was sitting on the warming shelf ready, which is annoying)
Food was pretty nice though, however not sure if I'll be back.

Chips were excellent and not fluro yellow.would rate six stars but can't.many chips for low price.

The food we ordered was nice and fresh and tasty. Very friendly and efficient service. I was impressed how many customers entering seems to be regulars as they were greeted by their names.
We ordered take away and will support this place again.

Had the steak sandwich with the lot. Quite tasty and very filling. Steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare and juicy. Nice crispy bacon, however it was lacking that ‘wow’ factor though - needs something like an onion relish to lift it up and some seasoning as the mayo and tomato sauce are just too simple. Nice fresh bread could be grilled a bit more as when you bite into it, it becomes quite mushy. Overall not bad though. 7.5/10

Great find. World class Potato cake. Crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, well salted. Stunningly delicious Aussie Burger with all the trimmings for just $13. Very well priced and great value.

Best people ever. They put so much effort into making the best order possible for each individual customer (including myself). Homely and flavourful food, and such a lovely family. Would recommend to all.

Don't be deterred by the looks and branding, this food is good! Good quality, well priced, and the chef knows how to cook. One of the better in the area

OMG best steak sandwich ever. Yes you pay through the nose but when the Angus steak melts in your mouth and is served between two pieces of Turkish bread with an upmarket flavoured mayonnaise you can't complain. It's the biggest steak sandwich I have ever eaten! Loved it. The potato cakes were crispy and delicious as well.

Nice friendly staff, clean place Got the king flat head, grilled calamari and chips, the best I have ever eaten! I will definitely be coming back again!

We ordered "the lot burger" today, beef were undercooked, colour of beef is pink to red.it should be fully cooked. I hope we don't get food poisoning tonight
The flavour of the burgers were good. Just want a more cooked beef burgers next time.

My burger with the lot was delicious! The wife just told me that her grilled fish souvlaki was the best she's ever had. Inspired me to give the 5 stars

Make a delish fish and chips. Have gone back to just get the chips with chicken salt, delish! Evenly salted, crisp on outside, warm and fluffy on the inside.

Food was ok, nothing inherently wrong but the usual stuff dim sim and corn jack is the frozen variety found everywhere else. Chips were done in semi-old oil as evidenced by the orange colour on them, won't be returning as there is at least 1 better alternative in the area.

Whilst it has changed hands & the new owners had big shoes to fill, they have not only matched it, they have smashed it out of the park. The food is awesome, steak sandwich is divine. Place is clean & extremely friendly folk. Definitely a favourite.

Ordered Potato Cakes and Chips. The potato cakes were crispy and cooked well. The chips were insanely good!
