When you enter this small family owned business you are warmly greeted by Gary the owner who prides himself on the relationship he has combined between the food he serves and his rich cultural background. This shows greatly in the food you are served here, a rich blend of new and modern dishes with a rich heritage of warm and familiar flavours. A must try for those looking for something familiar and something new simultaneously; a Melbourne must for sure

Excellent tasty and delicious food. The burgers are great and in fact everything we have eaten has been delicious. Highly recommend this little restaurant and looking forward to eating there again soon.

Starting from the decor, to the music every single thing about the place is spectacular. What really stood out was the incredible flavourful food, ofc I've eaten wings, burgers and what not. But the flavours here are absolutely delicious. Cherry on top, the owners and the staff are incessantly courteous and generously hospitable. One of the more satisfying meals I've had in Melbourne. Can't recommend this place enough.

Went in with high expectations and came out fully (literally) satisfied.

The burgers, chicken wings and fries are not the usual bland ones but they've have got a nice desi kick to them. Perfect spot for a weekend to have some beers on the side.

Ambiance is great too especially with Gurvinder and Samara being super hospitable.

Highly recommend the butter chicken wings and the Delhi tikka burger.

Came in this Friday, amazing service delicious food. Chips were crispy, hot and seasoned well, chopped cheese had the perfect amount of spice, butter chicken sauce super tasty on the chicken tenders. Great take on Indian fusion!

Wow! Yes, it was a wow experience. So happy to get away from the typical “Indian” style of food. Having said that the authentic taste was definitely there. The name rightly does justice with the taste and style. Lovely blend of flavours, taste and lip smacking sauces.
Can’t wait to try other original food from the menu and more.

Yesterday I tried the Desi's House Masala Fries which were impeccably seasoned, and the dipping sauce was spot-on. Next up, I tried the Maryland Fillets with Desi's special spicy date sauce, which had just the right amount of heat, and the chicken was incredibly tender. Finally, I indulged in the Delhi Tikka Burgers, which were bursting with flavor.
Can't wait to return

This place is great… quirky interior and good family run vibes.
Our favourite was the lamb loaded fries 10/10.
Everything was delish and portions are filling.

Wow! What incredible food, full of spice and flavour, and made by people who are passionate about what they do. A new local favourite which has now become the go-to takeaway spot. Thank you for making food that makes me smile.

We ordered a takeaway out of sheer joy of supporting a business that is trying to dish out desi flavours in the most unusual way.

We had our hearts on the fries and ordered them with their spicy dip. We also ordered a Goa Trance and the Delhi Tikka Birger Chicken burger.

The fries and the dip were very good. And unfortunately, this was the most disappointing part. Both the burgers had the same dressing of plum sauce (as opposed to one with spicy hot vindaloo sauce and the other plum based) and similar filling, absolutely misleading to the description it had given, except the mint raita bit but that too tasted more like yoghurt than even a hint of mint. And the spicy sauce for which we were charged $4.was served in a standard dip sized tub and seemed like being overcharged.

Sometimes the vision one might have may not translate into actuality and we understand they are working hard to improve but they really need to get their menu and logistics right or it's gonna be extremely tough.

This is our second dining in Desinental, we really enjoyed the food there. Everything was absolutely delicious. The spicy sauce served with the wings was bang on. We enjoyed the happy hour drinks as well. The staff are very friendly. Highly recommended if you're after something different and tasty

I had a great experience at Desinental! The IFC (Indian Fried Chicken) was amazing - it was coated with a special blend of spices and batter mix and poured with creamy Butter Chicken sauce. Delish! Their burgers were packed with flavor, the buns were fluffy and delicious, and the Masala fries were crispy. You must try their house mixed cocktails too! The restaurant is also beautifully decorated and provides multiple dining rooms to suit different occasions. Five stars all around for Desinental!
