Tried Gathiya, Paratha and Pani puri, amazing food definitely, less oily and very good owner

I almost tried all food and i thought this is the best place for street food lover in whole Melbourne. Special recommendation dishes: Panipuri with flavoured water specially served by Automatic dispenser first time shown in Australia. Also I’ll recommend Chaat, pizza and Sunday special Vanela Gathiya, Fafada.
Highly recommend visit once @Desi Pie.

I’m from South Africa and I just came in Melbourne. I visited Desi Pie with few Indian Friends and I enjoyed water ball (Panipuri) and pizza and taste were good. Definitely visit once Desi pie.

I had a conversation with Desi Pie owner and I really impressed with his idea and customer skills.

I just recently visited Desi Pie and I felt best street food place I ever found in Melbourne. I’ll highly recommend everyone visit once and tried PaniPuri and Chaat. I really liked concept how they severed Panipuri water by Automatic Water Dispenser.
I felt price is very reasonable and affordable by everyone. Also, they’re serving live Vanela Gathiya, fafada and jalebi I really loved the taste.

Great golgappa experience, hygienic and self serve, really good golgappa pani flavours - Must Try!

We try their Panipuri & Bhel that was Worst Bhel I ever have in my life and also panipuri’s original flavour water was not there you guys need to work on it and Bombay Bhel was just dried no flavour in it. Never gonna visit again sorry guys very expensive $10 for 10 Golgappaa. Taste and quality of food is matter most than Automatic water dispenser.

The lady at to counter was eating and licking her fingers. She served the food plates without washing or even cleaning her hands. When someone told her it's not done, she said "you can take your order, I'll try to wash next time.
I don't recommend this place to anyone who expects a clean place with basic hygiene to eat with your family and friends

You may call it Pani puri / Golgappa / Water balls. Desi Pie in Clayton is the go to place to have it, to get the real taste of Indian street food. Various spicy water options and automatic water dispenser are the USP of Desi Pie.

Very delicious pakodi/ Golgappa, Quick and nice service. Recommended. Everyone should visit. One advantage is that automatic dispenser Panipuri.

We have tried almost every item on the very first week.some flavours are good for panipuri while some needs improvement.
I can say it’s average.

I try the panipuri with all different flavour and all tastes amazing. Very happy with quality and service they provide is fabulous!

Only tried panipuri at Desi pie and is now my favourite place for panipuri. Self dispensing panipuri water and different flavours of them available are what makes this place special. My personal favs are hajma, mint and jaljeera.
Panipuri - 12 for $10 and ragda panipuri - 10 for $10, haven't seen any other better deal than this.
Take-away order of panipuri were also nicely packed and served.

Worst tasting pani puri ever! The flavored water for the dish had no balance across all the different flavors. Those incharge of making that dish, need to have a serious look at their cooking capabilities. Not recommended

Only place to have delicious and variety of Pani with puris. We loved their Ragda pani puri with warm aloo and varieties of pani. Bhel puri & Savpuri was also good but would have more spicier with less tamarind chutney.
