I have been to Tarneit twice now, and eaten food from Desi Dhaba, Butter Chicken plate, Lamb Rogan Josh plate, and a Lamb Vindaloo plate, Naan breads, and Soffren rice, the food was delicious, and great service, by Navjot and Zeenat. Thanks guys, have excellent work. And another evening I had Lamb Biryani and one naan bread and it was delicious, my waitresses were Manpreet and Aastha, they both showed me beautiful hospitality, Desi Dhaba Tarniet branch is the best branch in Melbourne, s west, they do bigger portions of rice and naan then Yarravile, Melbourne CBD and Craigieburn, and no sir charge for debit card, and cheap prices for meals and hospitality, I will always come to Desi Dhaba Tarniet again for more delicious food. Again, went to this restaurant, Navjot showed us wonderful hospitality, she brought us more Butter Chicken with Naan breads and lamb Biryani

Food was very spicy. Especially chicken biryani, sarso ka sag (despite telling them to make it mild). Also, amritsari fish pakoda was not pakoda it was halva (as if it was mashed). The only thing better was good staff especially Munib. Overall recommended for people looking for spicy food.

Good experience. Excellent food, they put a lot of effort to fulfill everyone’s food wishes. 5th visit here. Friendly environment, positive ambience. Especially, one of the staff member, “muneeb”, he is a Such a sweet guy, and he is so good. He makes you feel like a family member.

I have been to restaurant week ago very nice food and services one punjabi girl serived me a food very smiley face and well presented with dress up specialy she was the only one who covered her hair from rest of the staff.all the staff was very good for service
I really recommend other staff as well if every one covered there hair properly its good for restaurant good well and the customer health as well I noticed this girl in my both visit. I also recommend every one to go there enjoy the tasty and fresh food.

It was my friends birthday and we decided to dine in at restaurant which is popularly known as DESI DHABA.we ordered main course such as butter chicken dal, makhani and chandigarh chicken tikka butter masala which was the start of the day and the staff was very polite and service was excellent and ambience of the restaurant purely goes with its name one of the best indian restaurant in melbourne

I work in the area and I have been eyeing this place for ages but never had the time to sit down. Last week, my partner and I visited after moving to Point Cook. Other than being open late, the service so was good! The hostess was really sweet and made sure I was ordering what I was craving.
The food was also so good.
Another note was how clean the restaurant was!

Dine today for the first time in desi dhaba. Quality of the food was amazing and serving size was good enough as well. Staff was showing very good hospitality and taking care of the customers as required. Specifically one of the staff member (MOON) looked after us very well and showed his peripheral vision on all the consumers and approaching everyone on timely manner. Everyone must try this restaurant as this is the only restaurant who got the food comparable with Angan restaurant.

We went there for good food as we were very hungry. Once we ordered our food, we have to wait for ages to receive our meal, after a while the staff told us that our order was sent to another table so we had to wait long, and for this they offered us deserts on the house.

Then we ordered extra naan/bread which took another 20 minutes or so, although the restaurant was not that busy but one of the staff members told us they have big order from another table so that’s why it took long.

This was our 4th visit to this restaurant and every time they took so long to deliver the food. Very disappointed service

I ordered a chicken tikka masala and a naan today but both of them were not good.
Chicken was tough and the naan was chewy.
Have ordered from here before they were good but im dissappointed this time

Food was good, girls were lovely.they made sure we are okay.will we be back? Hell yes.

Ordered some takeaway and didnt like the flavor of the food. It was well below average. Not recommending this place. Giving 2 stars because it was edible and wasnt the worst food i had.

Delicious food, the best food in west! I love panner chilli garlic and it’s taste is brilliant! The most essential thing is their staff — AMAZING, BRILLIANT, HELPFUL AND VERY COOPERATIVE! This place is just like my home! Recommend to everyone! God bless the whole desi dhaba team!

They have been so nice. Open for 12 hours 11 to 11. Same legacy as their CBD branch. Harleen has been so awesome. You work long hours and carries the same smile.

Great authentic food! Everything we ate was quite freshly made. Best Saag we have ever tried in any indian restaurant. Excellent staff and best service. Beautiful wall decor. Glad to have good restaurants near home. Would definitely visit again soon.
