Des Brown Service Centre

My thanks to Des Brown Service Centre for exhibiting Community Spirit in assisting an elderly person in time of need. To their manager, and most especially Harry and Anthony, it was no small gesture on your part to provide help above and beyond what people would normally expect. It shows their Family values and I am indebted in my time of need. To them it was only a matter of minutes.to me.it was a task I could never have completed on my own due to ill-health. Many thanks to you gentlemen.

For over 40 years, three generations of my family have been going to Des Brown’s Service Centre. That on its own speaks volumes about the outstanding care and support any customer receives.
Travis and his team are the most honest and reliable people that we have ever meet in this industry. Over the years they have saved us many thousands of dollars in repairs and fuel costs. They always update with costs before completing any unscheduled work and have even sent us back to the manufacture for repairs, as it was cheaper for us than to have the work done by them; thus, they lost money, to save us money.
Safety is their priority and they always advise with that in mind.
I would not take our cars to anyone else, and would travel across Melbourne for service and repairs. I cannot speak more highly at the team.

This is a very recommended car shop. The charges are quite reasonable and the service is good. The inspection items are also very complete. The service items here are more diverse at the same maintenance price. I also went here temporarily because my car suddenly had a tire puncture. I only found out about this car factory after I repaired my tire. It was this car factory that saved my car. It is a great car factory. I recommend everyone to go to this shop for maintenance. By the way, the coffee at this shop is also very delicious and big cup than others. The gas price is relatively cheap. I will not go to other places for maintenance.

My Daughter didn't service her car which resulted in major engine damage.
Travis and his team repaired the car in only a few days!
Travis sent me videos of the damage and kept me informed of progress daily.
A fantastic outcome with the car now running like new!

Travis and his team are fantastic to deal with. Travis is always helpful, fair with his pricing, honest and keeps you up to date at all times. I wouldn't get my car serviced anywhere else.

Good local service station that's usually cheaper than the 7/11 service stations nearby. Honours local Ritchie's supermarket discount on petrol and offers full mechanical repairs and services, tyres etc.

Had good experiences in the past, recently however went in to get my headlight globe replaced as it had gone out. They said they could not do it on the spot and instead I’d have to book it in because they would have to take off a load of parts to replace it.
Then the next day I went down to a service centre in park orchards and they fixed it on the spot in 2 minutes.
Was a one off bad experience so still gets a decent rating but just hope if I was to book it in I would not have been charged overs for unnecessary repairs.

Very grateful to the Des Brown team for helping me with my car. They went above and beyond to fix my car in a short time frame and I can’t commend them enough for their professionalism and hard work.

Brilliant customer service! Travis and the team went above and beyond in investigating what was wrong with our car and finding the right fix for the problem. Very reasonably priced with no surprises. The follow up phone call afterwards was another example of their exceptional customer service. Highly recommend!

I’ve been buying my fuel here for over 30 years. Always friendly staff and with competitive prices.
Recently I had issues with replacing a near new tyre due to a puncture. The large chain where I had purchased 4 tyres only 8 months previously claimed that there were none of that tyre available and I’d have to get something else. I dropped in to Travis to get fuel and asked if he could find one. Half an hour later he was calling me to say he’d located one interstate. Two days later it had arrived and he once again called immediately and the tyre was on my car two hours later.
I’d been having a streak of bad luck with VW disinterested in helping me locate a drivers’ door mirror for my beetle after mine was damaged. Travis tracked one down. Unlike the large chains where you’re just a number and some $, the personal service at Des Brown is exemplary.
I’m ditching VW where I purchased my car, and to whom I’d been foolishly loyal, and taking her to Travis for all future services. In this day and age supporting your local is the way to go.

Brilliant service have taken two cars there recently for servicing. They communicated with me every step of the process which exceeded my expectations. Definitely will be giving them more work in the future. Keep the good work up guys and great to have a local trusted team in the area all these years.
