Derrimut Charcoal Chicken

The “chicken” here tasted like a rock, the chips were soggy and the gravy was not graving. The only thing I liked was my can of soda.

Worst HSP I ever had Chinken was undercooked I can see redness in meat color with big chanks. Tastless. Waist of money and time.

Worst chicken hsp ever. They give you double fried chips even if we ask for the fresh chips.

Bad choice of sauce in the chicken kebab. Really bland taste to the overall kebab & lack of flavour. Gravy has this awful aftertaste. Would not recommend this store thank you

I order from here a lot and have always really enjoyed their food. The Chicken Wrap is a perfect lunch for me.:)

Not good. Came in got a kebab meal. Taste was OK I guess. But portion size was way off. For $15.5 you would expect alot more. No happy. Won't be back.

Every time I come here they make the food so fast, I’m always served with a friendly smile and I think this is one of the best places to get a HSP/kebab from in Derrimut. The quality of the meat just tops the surrounding restaurants especially for the price you’re paying, exceeds your expectations.

Please wear a mask. I dont think all three staff there have an exemption. For everyone's sake please.

Second time trying it to give the place the benefit of the doubt
Ordered through Uber eats with my coworkers and this is what we got:

1. I got a lamb HSP and it arrived WITH cheese when I do not eat cheese & no where in my order did I mention cheese
2. My male coworker got a mixed kebab which turned out SOGGY as I swapped with him due to cheese being in my HSP, it was not wrapped well at all and it was just a mess trying to eat it
3. My female coworker got a mixed meal which had little to no dips with it all being in alll over the place in the container, and there was little meat only in a big container.

Overall experience was TERRIBLE and I do NOT recommend eating here ever again!

Waste of money & they’re extremely stingy with their meat. No regard for customers whatsoever.

My partner and I came to visit this popular charcoal chicken shop. We ordered charcoal chicken and schnitzels, and honestly it was one of the best charcoal chicken I have had, cooked to perfection, melts in your mouth, with a beautiful real charcoal flavour.
Stop the hopping around and give this place a go, and thank me later!

This is not quarter of a chicken. It is an eighth at best. Never ever gotten a breast quarter like this anywhere in my life. Half of it is just not there, cut off in the middle. Chips were also undercooked.

Worst HSP i have ever had in my life. They used last day meat to make HSP and it’s not even hot. Literally wasted money.

Chips, cheese & gravy is delicious and the chicken pieces are to die for. The service is exceptional?

Hey guys, ordered the 3 HSP and Mixed kebab. Meat was plenty and chunky, family loved it, had to come on and commend thanks again.

They make one of the best HSPs you can buy in melbourne, their chips are perfectly cooked and taste incredible, with the melted cheese on top, to finish with shaved lamb and chicken, with Your choice of up to 3 sauces and for a price of $11.50 you cant go wrong, the value of money for what your getting is perfect.

I have been here twice - the first and the last time. Chicken was dry and a funny chemical charcoal taste suggesting poor quality charcoal. Chips dry and over cooked.will not revisit

I've been buying food here since 2018. The quality of food never changes and still remains the same. I always love getting the pack with chicken, chips and salad. Super delicious and never over salted. Food here is ALWAYS MADE FRESH everyday. Lovely working family and super generous. Will definitely be back many times:)

HSP JUST CRAB. I ORDERED JUMPO LAMB HSP AND MEAT IS JUST OVER COOKED. LIKE CHIPS. TASTELESS. SEE IN PICTURE MEAT.u can't eat as well. I am thowing this. $18.50 wasted.
