Dermatology Institute of Victoria - Dr Greg Goodman reviews
14Very expensive service. My partner went recently for her acne treatment and no results were seen. Wasted a lot of money. Would not recommend this at all!
I have been to the clinic twice for acne treatment. I haven't had a positive results with treatment, along with consultation and medicines I have spent around $700 in the span of 3 months still my acne spots remain the same. Based on my Google research this clinic was suppose to be the best unfortunately i couldn't find any help. Infact I had an inflammation after using one of ointment and the doctor who was seeing me was suppose to do a phone call for a follow up to know how the medications were reacting to my skin. My suggestion don't waste your time and money here.
Edited - No follow up from the Doctor was made post the practice manager contacted me.
I have keloids and I have been treated by DIV for a couple years. Dr Greg and his nurses (normally Rose or Grace) are very professional and they look after me well. In my opinion Greg is the best skin doctor out there (I have been doing for treatments for my keloids for over 10 years in Vietnam, Singapore, Sydney and now Melbourne). They seem to have the most current techy equipment here. Plus, everytime I arrive, the receptionists acknowledge me and welcome with a smile. Highly recommend DIV to everyone!
Customer service and customer care was outstanding.
About an hour before my appointment I received a call saying the doctor was running overtime and so they asked me to arrive about half an hour later. I waited less than 10 minutes when I got there!
When I had my appointment with Stefania Roberts she took the time to ask me about my general health, noting that I limped into the room. After I explained that I had fractured my foot and was waiting to see specialists about other conditions, she asked me if I wanted to postpone the procedure. She was happy to let me walk away cos she could see I had so many health stresses.
It’s no wonder she sometimes runs overtime. She cares!
Greg Goodman is a superb dermatologist. He is a professional whose standards are above and beyond. I'd highly recommend this practice.
I’m wondering why doctor Greg Goodman subsicion treatment is $860 but other places $150 there is a huge gap and also laser more then $1000 but others $400
Can somebody tell me
The injector nurse (mike) was disgusting, rude and arrogant. I asked for a Dermatologist for my cosmetic injections but ended up seeing a nurse! I had to go back 2 times to fix the asymetry on my face. Terrible place, dont waste your money here.receptions are extreemly rude as well. Never going back there.
I initially saw many different dermatologists about my eczema before finally seeing Greg. In the last few years he has helped me get my skin under control and has greatly improved my quality of life.
Me and my partner went to visit Dr Greg one week ago. We thought we were getting the best service as the consultation fee is $390 but we ended up talking to the nurse more than to Dr Greg. On top of that, my partner was prescribed with Doxycycline and no one took the slight effort to tell us about the side effects. We had to search on our own and then called to complain about it. In return, we received a phone call (from the nurse again) just to say sorry for not telling us about the side effects on your skin becoming very sensitive to sun (we live in Australia, the skin cancer paradise come on!) and please avoid dairy products. Well, for you to know, some people have cereal and milk for dinner sometimes, so, very important to mention that in a $390/10min consultation.
I'm totally disappointed with the service.
Very responsive and helpful - provided prompt and kind advice on my mother's skin condition. Very grateful! Highly recommended!
Dr G. Goodman is a smooth operator and highly competent however I sacked him after 18 months of antibiotics for acne and went to a Gnarly old WASP whom I got on side (Roaccutane). Subsequent to that I went back to Greg who now knew the run of the game (he heard from me and most likely formally from the other ex Army (WWII) dermo I 'd been elsewhere). I notice on another site called Rateyourmds or something similar old Greg has had a lot of bad raps recently. He may have changed a lot (in a psycho sense but working with a slew of women looking for cosmetic surgery in many cases may well have caused that). In addition, a lot people are getting the boot into his staff.
It sounds to me as if he might have recruited a lot of Sth Yarra Princesses.or perhaps ; Good Help is Hard to Find. Some of those reviews are barely literate, so you have to wonder about the so called mentality behind them.
There is one in particular where one woman complains about use of the Fbomb by GG and some comments he made about the lifestyle of the son. Now Roacc /Acc causes rectal thinning. Inter Alia. It is clear that this post refers to Roacc.so was the son clearly a wooly wooftah and GG was concerned about the knock on effects? Could be.you can be sure that most reviewers will be telling only a small fraction of the truth.
I just attended the safety with dermal fillers course and I can not speak highly enough about this. It was so insightful and Greg is so knowledgeable. Would 100% recommend
Greg is a very professional doctor with a good heart. His staff are nice too. I have done my keloids treatment here and would recommend to everyone.
