Demitri's Feast

Eggplant ball and seafood be careful not to go overboard with tapas if you'll have their grills! Ended up leaving some meat being too full w tapas. Honestly service and food both are 10/10! Can't wait to visit again!

We hadn't booked, so the two of us sat near the bar. Even then, we were well looked after, and the food & wine was delicious. Good Greek food really relies on great ingredients and a light touch in the kitchen. They have it right.

Loved our dinner here. Every dish we had was bursting with flavour - saganaki was outstanding. The staff were lovely and the cocktails were great!

Delicious food! Octopus and cabbage slaw was unreal. Only complaint is slightly small serving sizes but the taste of the food made it all worth it! Would come here again

Amazing. The taste…you can tell the food is prepared and served with pride and love. The layering of flavours, the use of the ingredients; it all points toward a level of mastery in the kitchen that takes decades to forge. The saganaki is an absolute must have. So is the cauli-pop. As is the octopus tentacle. The only negative is the parking which is typical of Richmond. But once you sort out the logistics, you won’t be disappointed.

What a beautiful and cozy dining experience. The staff are super attentive and charming, the food is phenomenal and the atmosphere/ambiance is so inviting. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

The food is delicious and the staff very friendly however the portion sizes have shrunk significantly in the last 6months. Don't arrive hungry.

Edit: we ordered the same share plate a few months ago and the one received at our last visit was a lot smaller. Not sure if there is a difference if you sit in the front area to the back but this was just our observation.

Came for lunch today and sat in the courtyard, beautiful ambience and great service by the lovely owner. Meals were spaced so we had enough time to relax in between and anticipate the next dish which gave a really relaxed homelike feel to the experience. Wine was delightful, and the saganaki was the best I've ever had - crispy, and not chewy like you get at most places. Lamb cutlets were tender, marinated and cooked perfectly. Fantastic lunch, thank you!

Weird place. The food and drinks etc were decent. But it felt more like a bar run by the owner to get drunk with his mates rather than a venue for the public. We were asked to move three times and the owner was the bartender and server and spent most of the time talking to his mates. Was weird. But we enjoyed the food and drinks.

Everything is always exceptional - the food, the drinks, the people, the vibes. They make you feel like family.

Everything that came out was delicious!

Service was fantastic and the courtyard was beautiful.

Would definitely dine here again!

Went to pick up takeaway and staff wouldn’t let us use public toilets so we left the food - noticed staff laughing

What can we say about this place?
One of the few that serve traditional greek food in a great atmosphere! Love this place!

We checked out Demitri's Feast on a glorious Sunday arvo. Delicious Greek food with a gorgeous little courtyard, what more could you want.

We had the chilli prawns, grilled meat plate, greek salad and mix dips with pita (not pictured).

Looking forward to checking out more of the menu on our next visit.

Delicious Greek food. Small but fine wine list. Fun, friendly atmosphere at the bar - where you can eat your meal. Plenty of gluten free options but take care if coeliac because the "gf" potatoes are cooked in a deep fryer that is shared with non gf items.

Always wanted to go here I just never had the chance. Absolutely loved it here! Worth getting the salmon starter we got the meat platter for two.

Keen to try other things for sure!

Cosy and chill ambience. We had the dips, octopus, lamb cutlets and salad. Simple, beautifully done, absolutely delicious.

Or "Jim's" as the locals call it, is a small but very welcoming cafe with excellent fare.
