Was in recently to buy a couple of pedals, the demo rooms are a nice touch and the staff were very helpful. Awesome selection of products

Ordered a specific amp cable as a gift and made an error when ordered, when i called the company store a lovely guy named Michael helped me out every step of the way with making sure i could get it delivered to me and fixing other missed errors i had made. Michael was patient with me and had amazing customer service, i will definitely be shopping with them again in the near future.

The collection of pedals is great. The in-store experience is something else all together. Rude staff that go out of their way not to serve you even when you are standing there with pedals in your hand going "take my money". One staff member prioritizes the phone while the other two play around at the back of the store.
When you do eventually get service they are pretty off hand, the punchline being that I couldn't buy one of the pedals I had because "Someone bought that online while you were waiting, how funny is that"?
I walked out of the store without buying anything based on the experience and bought all the pedals I wanted online at much better prices.
It's a shame, these guys are a local store for me and I would love to have supported a local business. I'll be buying all my pedals online from who I expect is their direct competitor going forward.

Been a customer since they were at the old Troy balance place off Coventry street. Michael, Marinos and Nick have always been fantastic along with some of the new staffers that work there. Some also with look down on you attitudes but that doesn't bother me, coz if i want something i will buy it which has been numerous times.lol can never walk away empty-handed when i walk into this shop! You want top end, low end, and everything in between including obscure connectors, cables etc, this is theee shop to go to. I can mention another place in carlton that comes close in second, but Deluxe is the best place ever.period! Just fantastic service, help, and they go hell or high water to search and contact you once they find the goods you need, when they did not have it at that time for you. If you have the budget, this is the place to go, if not it still is the place to go. All i can say is go check it out. You will not be disappointed at all. ️️️️️

Great range of pedals and boutique amps. Small rehearsal rooms can be used to demo gear out in privacy. Staff have been helpful when I have been there. Worth a look but realise it's high end gear that has its price.

Deluxe Guitars has been my go to shop for guitar gear for many years now and it is a must visit for any guitarist coming by Melbourne! They’ve had all my favourites including Jam Pedals, Dan Drive, Chase Bliss, and everything in between! Highly recommend!

Very friendly and helpful staff, knowledgable, allowed me to try a few different options and great to talk with too. In my first visit I knew what I wanted and they allowed me as much time as I needed to make sure it was what I expected. On my second visit, I was unsure what I exactly wanted so we discussed options and they let me try them all to get what i needed. They understood that because I didn't know exactly what I wanted, it didn't mean I wouldn't buy anything. They took the time to assist and offer suggestions and I of course I bought! Would recommend this place to anyone in music if you want quality gear and service.

I live in south australia often i order on a wednesday due to my pay cycle the guys get them over here real quick often by the weekend can recomend.

Picked up a bunch of SquarePlug SP400 low profile pedalboard jack plugs. Couldn't enter store due to Covid-19 restrictions but they were easy to order from DG website and they had them ready for pick up at front door from friendly staff member. One of many products DG sell which no one else in Melbourne seems to have

The best guitar, amps and pedals shop I've ever visited, period. As a working musician I've been their customer for the past eight years and their service was and always is second to none. Also, the staff (Hey Marinos!) are great musicians themselves, and are incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to musician's needs, and their suggestions are always very accurate and to the point. It's a very musician friendly and respectful environment as well with a vast number of all the gears you could ever imagine.
