del Rios Winery and Restaurant

Our lunch experience and food was absolutely perfect, staff and atmosphere could not be faulted we were even lucky enough to have a large group of kangaroos hopping through the paddocks, it was absolutely spectacular I really wanted to be able to give this winery 5 stars based on the above but I feel my disappointments needed to be addressed.when we arrived no one had read the notes on our booking which stated we had 3 children who then had to be squashed into our already booked table, and most terrifying was the menu that stated my salmon meal was gluten free but when it came to the table it was normal bread - I made sure to study the menu days before to make sure I could choose something to suit my dietary needs and this could have been devastating if I didn’t check with staff before eating, this should be changed on your menu if the bread is not automatically served with gluten free bread to avoid potentially harming someone.

Always love visiting the Del Rios winery, my home away from home. I love the views and atmosphere, pairs well with the amazing food & wine!

We had lunch at del Rios Winery today, our first visit and SO glad we went and it won’t be our last trip. The venue itself is quite lovely, sitting on top of a hill with amazing views across the valley looking towards the You Yangs. The Service we received was first rate. We thoroughly enjoyed a selection of tapas and finished up with a cheese board. We enjoyed a glass of the 2014 Shiraz, it too was lovely. This is truly a family affair with family members involved in all aspects of the restaurant. Highly recommend this venue, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making our lunch today special.

Great views, amazing food and stunning wines. It was a great experience today at del Rios, a true authentic journey through food and wine, you can taste the tradition and passion in food and wine. If you are ever in the area (or not) then this is an absolute must visit! Thank you for having us.

We had a great afternoon here. The wine and food was of a very high standard. Beautiful views. Big thanks to Arnold who was an exceptional wait staff and he was always very attentive.

Really, really wanted to like this place. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff are very very very friendly and the food prices are quite reasonable.

Unfortunately however the food did not have a big impact on us. It was well presented and looked beautiful, but everything was lacking in a bit of flavour.

The patatas bravas was unfortunately not crunchy on the outside, the dry aged steak was medium-well done and not medium rare, the paella was quite bland.

It's hard to write this review as the staff were so accomodating and friendly and the view of the winery/land is beautiful but unfortunately the food did not do it justice.

Beautiful day for lunch in the outside area on the balcony. Tuna croquettes were amazing! Grab the trio Pinot if you swing by! Amazing food and drink! Amazing atmosphere.

Had a great lunch, we shared some tapas, did a seated tasting (thanks covid). We got lucky and got the best table with a great view. The staff friendly and welcoming. The food was nice, as were the wines. A great selection of varietals and vintages by the glass to match with your food selection. Thanks team del Rios.

Fantastic food and service all around last Friday! It's great to see another local family business thriving and we highly recommend a visit to Del Rios Winery.

Our group of 10 had a fabulous time. Great food, wine and cocktails. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Rachel, nothing was too much trouble for her to handle. Beautiful country location which takes advantage of the landscape. The shuttle bus was a bonus.

Came here on the weekend with my partner, really enjoyed the Chorizo and lamb cutlets. The waitress recommended a Tempranillo bottle that worked perfectly. Will be back again.

My husband and I had a lovely meal at Del Rios. The food was amazing, the wine was delicious, the views were superb and the service top notch! Will definitely be going back again very soon.

Brilliant place to spend an afternoon with friends and family. Food scrumptious and plenty of good wine to accompany it. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We had a lovely time.
