Degani Melton

We have been frequenting Degani every second Wednesday for the past few months for dinner. I must say it is one of the best steaks going around Melton. I am very fussy with my blue/rare request and the chef has not let me down. I have four children and they all finish there dinner as well with no complaints.

Service is prompt the wait for food is reasonable. I rank Degani in the top 5 restaurants in Melton.

Went here the other day! And the service was quick and the food was delicious.the staff members were so nice and helpful with ordering my food and helping decide which was the best meal! I would 100% come here again

Not very happy with the food or service got our on tray after they gave us our main meal one of the main meals came out when everyone was nearly finished eating potatoes where cold don’t think I will be back an I paid with a card an they made me pay a service fee not happy when I spend over $200

Was really disappointed with the service and food. Seems like other customers have had a similar experience too. We sat around for quite some time until having to ask to order and being walked past constantly. I had ordered an açai bowl and it was so watery, on the menu it stated that it comes with the granola. There was no granola in it and we weren’t notified of this until receiving it. When asking the staff for some granola on the side they then notified us that they are waiting for their shipment. These types of things should be communicated with the staff and chefs before taking out the food. Even more disappointed that there was no empathy about the situation and we had to pay the full price.

I often meet a friend here for coffee but today decided to have breakfast.
The young waitress was helpful and allowed me to select my own breakfast rather than a standard breakfast which was great. Full marks for that.
When the food came the serve was a lot larger than I would have liked. There should be smaller options available. The bacon was delicious. The hashbrowns weren't, they didn't seem properly cooked and were very oily, the tomato I was given was huge which meant that it was hard in the centre.
They also don't advise that there is a surcharge for paying by card. The so called notice is a tiny, handwritten note, nowhere near the till.

Not sure if this restaurant has changed hands in the last couple of months but it the food definitely didn't seem to be of the same standard as previously

Firstly I’m not a local, but my lovely gf had a voucher ironically because the food wasn’t good the first time the owner invited her back with a voucher so out of good faith she returned with me but when we first walked in their was no service we seated ourselves we didn’t know whether to come to the counter or to wait so we waited for 15 mins and nothing so we walked up to the counter and a guy says no we come to you.hmm ok than why did we wait so long when the place was empty? So we sat back down and a woman takes our order we get a bacon and egg burger I get the açai bowl and a milkshake…
The food takes forever … than it arrives… firstly the açai bowl was like soup.you could literally swim in it was like water and had no flavour.than the bacon and egg burger.cold.stale.no flavour.overall very disappointing esp since this was the second time my friend has been here! I think it’s such a great space if you hired the right staff and got a chef that knows what he’s doing this place could definitely be improved.

Diners beware. Owner/Staff are dishonest, if you order from the huge pizza menu board on the wall first they say they can’t make that pizza then they won’t honour the price despite saying they would, still charged extra at the end.

Deceitful and rude when challenged on it. Don’t dine here.

Fellow ANZACCCS food responsible. We ordered mugs of coffee, and we ended up with a bucket size. Coffees good atmosphere average. Price good food average to good.

Had a party last night…. Manager angi gave us a great deal and the owner of the restaurant is a person with a great heart…we loved the party and he helped us with our budget and also the party was well planned…

HORRENDOUS - the “famous smash avo” is old avocado smashed with a fork not even a hint of lemon and the tomatoes medley was two cherry tomatoes cut in half. My daughters watermelon frappe was pink syrup no hint of fruit. This is an embarrassment to the franchise. Will never visit again

The restaurant was very quite yet my order was still incorrect. When they remade it it had missing ingredients - they advised me they did not have any.

Food was spot on. All 3 dishes we ordered were amazing …calamari was grilled & not chewy, softest calamari I have had like ever…Lamb souvlaki was nicely presented & tasted great, Capricosa pizza was as good as it gets. Service was fast. Beers were chilled on 30 degrees day. Reasonable priced food. Absolutely loved our experience. Next time bringing out friends around! Keep
going guys!

Great food! My smashed avocado was sensational. My husband’s lamb salad was amazing. It would’ve been 5 star if the waitress didn’t forget our water.

Had so many nice breakfasts in the past here but since it has been taken over its nothing but disappointing. The waitress knew we weren't happy with our meals but did nothing. We won't be back

Ordered the same pasta I do everytime from deganu but for some reason they decided to send me a risotto. After specifically saying fettuccine as well. Chose to get it redilivered. And they sent the exact same risotto again, how hard is it to read an online order.

Quality has gone down hill. Hot chocolate is so flavourless. Toast was burnt. Eggs benny used to be good. Last time I was there, same thing.

What a poor excuse for a restaurant/cafe.
Service was as poor as can be, after getting our order taken & food coming out we were forgotten about
Porterhouse was tough & barely edible & don't get me started on the 'special beef & guiness pie', pre-made frozen pie from a packet that's just been heated up to boiling temperature & served with a flavourless dry mash potato. The still water from the bottle was probably the freshest menu item we had. Manager didn't even seem to care when I tried telling him at the reception during payment.
I wouldn't trust any review for this cafe that's higher than one star.

Absolutely disgusting service. Walked in there on a Monday night at 7: 30pm and was told the kitchen was closed. Closing time is 8pm. Obviously they make too much money to afford an early close.

Delicious pizza… such a crisp & light base! Had a Chicken Caesar which was also yummy! Great value

Good food and service at good price. Been going there now for a few years. The coffee is always amazing and they cater to my white sugar requirement. Food has always been well made and if not they will remake. Atmosphere is nice a calming and even when full it quite enough you can talk with your company.
