Incredible Detroit style pizza. The dough was surprisingly airy and fluffy - but the cheese melty.

We had the triple pepperoni. It's described as a detroit style pizza (square boy, sauce on top). If you've ever had a real detroit style pizza you would immediately recognise why this is absolutely not a detroit style pizza. It needs seasoning, no flavour, It wasn't even hot - I mean temperature wise. Way too expensive and cheap cheese. Our server was rude. First and last visit.

Food and staff are amazing, definitely worth a visit, and if you can't get a seat, I would reccomend ordering takeaway.

The deep dish pizza is what we had, and it was amazing

Servers were super nice. The deep dish crust was really good and the pizza sauce was also good. Classic spicy pepperoni in the New York style was my personal favourite and Detroit pizza is not for me. It was like a focaccia with toppings

Ordered the 9 cheese pizza and it was pretty good! Eat it while it’s still hot. The chicken wings was sort of a let down but service and everything else was pretty great

Absolutely love this place for a big cheesy deep dish pizza. We got one of the Chicago deep dish pizzas as a vegetarian option and it was so tasty and cheesy. We had to get a few slices to take away because it’s very filling.

Nice vibe inside, friendly staff and good tunes. I want to go back to try the Detroit pizza next time and some of the sides.

For the first time in my life, I got beaten by a pizza. A Chicago style pizza. It was about 10", bright red and golden brown, extremely cheesy, basically destroyed my macros, and it took about $30 out of my wallet.

10/10, would recommend.

The waiters are so so friendly and funny, and the food was absolutely beautiful, we ordered the normal Cheese and Pepperoni New York style Pizzas which were MASSIVE and the crust was so crunchy, and the Pepperoni Chicago Deep Dish pizza is what we actually came to try, and it was amazinggg sooo much cheese which is why getting pepperoni is better because there’s some meat to have along with the pounds of cheese and tomato lmao but so yummy, definitely recommend

This was our first Chicago style deep dish experience and we couldn’t have been eased into it in a better way. Incredibly friendly atmosphere and a pizza just as amazing. We ordered one deep dish for two and an incredible straciatella- unfortunately we could only finish a slice each but man oh man, was it delicious. We’ll be having the leftovers as instructed in the video and are sure it will be just as good then. Thank you for a lovely time!

I’m a bit old, so the atmosphere was amazing - just everyone around us was really loud. That aside - everything else is perfection. The pizzas were outstanding (we opt’d for the Chicago deep dish and The Lot Detroit style pizzas) and the staff were incredible. Highly recommend and suggest you go in to eat - don’t just get take away - as the drinks are very well made and tasty. We will be back again very shortly!

A delightfully funky and unique pizza experience that can be enjoyed by those of all ages, deep end pizza was a very fun and delicious restaurant with some of the best service I've received full stop. I came here for my birthday with my family eager to try out the Chicago style deep dish pizza, but that wasn't the only thing that was delicious here. Coming in here had a lovely atmosphere with fresh and quirky decor, and friendly and welcoming staff who were delightful throughout the night. We ordered the garlic focaccia, the bone marrow, the Detroit hot salami pizza, and of course the pepperoni deep dish pizza. The food not only came quickly but was astonishingly delicious, the garlic focaccia was garlicy, cheesy, and had a delightful flavour throughout, the bone marrow was tender meaty and the crackers that it came on were crispy and yum. The deep dish pizza was glorious, it had an amazing amount of cheese, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. While it was fantastic, it was far too much for my family and I to eat so we took it home, and the Detroit pizza as well which I ate for lunch the next day, and it was still just as delicious. This place is a fresh and unique restaurant with friendly staff, and it is a great place for deep dish pizza and for anything overall.

My husband is from Chicago and I lived there for almost 6 years and we can safely say the Deep dish pizza is legit it tastes just like the stuffed deep dish style from Chicago. My husband is SO HAPPY we found this place and recommend it to everyone who wants to try a taste of Chicago! The owners are lovely. I had asked if they had Chicago style giardinera which is a common topping for Italian beef and pizza in Chicago and they said they didn't but knew exactly what we were talking about and made some just for us! Above and beyond service.and just the BEST Pizza

Went for a deep dish chicago style cheese pizza with my family my birthday! It was insanely good.we were looked after by kate who provided AMAZING service! She is top notch.we will definitely be back.

In a life that has included many bouts of hedonism and excess, such that I cannot in good conscience share publicly, the eating of one (some!) of Deepend’s Chicago deepdish pizzas is up there among my more extreme experiences.

Without doubt, it was delicious, well-crafted, beautifully proportioned and expertly balanced. Equally without doubt, I am now in fear of my life as I lie on the couch and attempt digestion of almost mythical caloric proportions.

If this is the end of me, it is the way I have always dreamed of going, in a feverish haze of sweet and umami, and yet I wish now for more time on this earth, if only to try the leftovers in the morning tomorrow.

Godspeed, and most definitely try this pizza - but please heed my warning, brave souls who follow after.

Amazing foodie experience in the gorgeous Fitzroy. Their deep dish pizza is a must try - but be prepared to take home leftovers unless there’s 6 of you! Amazing food. Amazing service. Immaculate vibes. A must do dining experience! Loved it.

Made reservation and still waited for 1h to be seated. Pizza took more than 40 minutes fo be served and it was mid. Overal bad experience.

The best pizza experience ever. Funky vibes, authentic pizza with delicious flavours. A restaurant that knows its strengths and unashamedly plays to them. But best of all, the staff are so friendly and helpful! They guided us on the menu, they helped us box up our leftovers, they gave us reheating instructions and they were super nice about it all. If I could give 6 stars for staff, I would. I genuinely had a fantastic time and was so stuffed full of good food. Unmissable.

So my friends took me to this place, now I have to be completely honest the Detroit pizza wasn't half bad, lacked a touch seasoning in my opinion.

Be prepared to wait up to 40 minutes for your pie to be served so don't go in starving, or you might drink yourself silly just before you have any actual dinner.

Upon arrival the Chicago deep dish had a lot to answer for, in a bath of stringy mozzarella cheese and a few scattered pepperoni the crust was poorly proved and raw, therefore I left it all on the plate.

This pizza easily feeds 3 people so splitting the bill is a must, overall decently priced I'll come back to try the new York style.

Service is ordinary at best, I felt like going to Macca's at best and did not feel welcome or have any specials offered to me by the waiters, being a small place and buzzing it can get quite loud, since patrons are probably getting drunk before eating any food.

Gotta love Melbourne right? Hop right along on the next pizza pop up in town, this place is JAM packed so book well ahead but don't expect an amazing feed.
