6Currently studying here and have had nothing but a run around with the university, from week 1 in T2, I have had medications effecting my study. Deakin will not assist if your having difficulties they will just make it harder to cope. Advertised that nursing is free to upskill. I ended up having to pay. Deakin would not help and gave the run around with this also. Now forced to withdraw due to them not allowing me to reduce my study load by 1 unit to make it easier on me, less stress. I will be going to a solicitor to get my money ive lost from trimester 1 as i will NOT be continuing with this university ever again. I did study Teaching back in 2009 and had some other issues back then regarding a lecturer being very aggressive toward me and had to have my work submitted to geelong uni for marking as a result. GO TO A DIFFERENT UNIVERSITY, DO NOT BOTHER GIVING DEAKIN ANY MONEY, THATS ALL THEY WANT.
Incredible accommodation and friendly waiters, but the downside was there are 58 people chained up under the cabins
Great place to re live memories of being in nurses quarters during training 40 years ago.it was like the big brother house so was an experience. However, Units accommodating
6 people would be suited to large family. Not such a great spot in summer as heating is present but no air-conditioner.

Beautiful place, went and got tested there, the staff are excellent very understanding and patient
Currently finishing off my master with deakin. The content is ok, some live zoom tutorials which are recorded if you are busy at scheduled time, and online lectures and reading/researching content each week, online platform is pretty good too.
Only complaint would be that some lecturers drip feed the weekly content and do not post the assessment outlines until halfway through the semester - so you cannot plan ahead, which i find the most annoying thing eveerrrrrrr
