One of the best university with the best professors. It was good experience with every member of Deakin. I personally never face any problem. Moreover, management (student centre) is very dedicated for students and they resolve queries on call, sometimes take 24 hours. Overall, it was my life’s best experience with best people.

I am flabbergasted, dumbfounded and befuddled by some of the tomfoolery and harlequin-like buffoonery I’ve witnessed from Deakin. Goodness gracious me!

I remember a time when ‘University’ meant something more, when the ambitiously hard-working student body (our future doctors, lawyers, politicians and global relations liaisons) meant more than mere numbers and data blips on a statistics board designed to coerce you out of your money. They each have needs, unique identities and individual skillsets that any place worthy of attending would acknowledge and cater to! The shame of it all! The trials and tribulations endured could have been easily avoided by recognising the coeds for what they are, willing and eager to enter the work-force as PROUD students for a start. Furthermore, they’d like to enter their industries feeling like confidently trained individuals, who’s time has value and appreciation. Not as identity-stripped carbon copied slaves to the educational system, numbers on graphs and spreadsheets to draw in more people.

Words just couldn’t adequately express the unceremonious, lacklustre and appalling nature of earning a degree from this institution.

I feel angry and indignant about how much hard work goes unrecognised or unrewarded around here and suggest some serious reform in the overall approach, some more enriching strategies for the the student experience and last but not least some dignity for all involved.

I studied psychology years ago and was very happy here. My only current issue with Deakin is the Masters is not offered part-time so I had to look elsewhere for this.

Working there for more than a year as a research scientist. It's a wonderful university with world-class research facility and great supervisors/mentors. Great staff, beautiful campus and amazing work-life balance. It has several campuses across Melbourne and Geelong.

A really beautiful campus. Loves the ponds and native gardens. The fancy new facilities in the faculty of arts seem super cool.

I studied psychology years ago and was very happy here. When I struggled with nerves at one point, they offered me heaps of support to get through my studies and successfully complete both my bachelor and my honours. My only current issue with Deakin is the Masters of Clinical Psych is not offered part-time so I have to look elsewhere if I ever want to continue on to clinical registration. Would love if this could be made part-time.

Hold a sporting event, don't provide enough parking, then go around issuing tickets to all and sundry. We'll done Deakin.

Absolutly appalling customer service, constant ongoing issues. Don't even bother with this university if your doing an online course. You'll get no support, they'll waste your time and create more work for you when you ask for help!

The campus is amazing. High tech and really great facilities, the grounds are well maintained and the facilities up to date with the right equipment for the job.

As an outsider, disappointedly surprised to learn deakin has no public study spaces here unlike a few other unis in melbourne, as I learned from unhelpful reception.
