Deakin Library Burwood

A quiet and comfortable library. Friendly and helpful staff - they provide assistance even for the smallest queries. Managed pretty well.

This modern, carefully planned, world-class library has a great variety of books and online resources. In addiction, it has a lot of convenient study spaces vibrant with many shapes and colours, and some of the spaces such as 'study rooms' and 'study booths' are dedicated only for current students.

While I was a Master degree student at Deakin, they allowed me to borrow 100 books at a time, which was wonderful. Now, as an alumni member, they still allow me to borrow 10 books, and use some of the library spaces. I love Deakin University and its library for the continuous support they give us even after years of graduation.

A really nice library but only open until 9pm, wish it was still open 24 hours or at least until midnight: (

The staff and resources here are fantastic. Other universities should take note, Deakin go out of their way to help you out even as an former student! Thanks to all the awesome librarians!

Best place to study and chill out, it was open 24 hours before covid but now it's open till 1 am which is still good

Every time I go to school I must lost my way, I even can’t find library. Compare with other schools like Latrobe, monash, Deakin has a really bad map design.

Very comfortable environment with aesthetically appealing interior design. Quiet rooms available and also small open cabins to study.

Suitable for study but without proper service. You can’t find a stapler after printing. Many students sit on sofa or chairs without shoes. Imagine how disgusting.

It’s a bit sad seeing the library and the whole university campus being so empty but at least there were no delays. I got in and out within five minutes. It’s a gorgeous well equipped library.

Given no other libraries I could go to now, I am super happy with the facility with physical distancing protocol in place. All users are checked when capacity reaches the magic number of 150.

Great place to study. Good facilities. Rich collection of books and other media. Gets a bit full on weekdays so expansion plans can be considered.

One of the best university libraries I have been to. Well equipped and provides a range of services. Staff are very helpful.

Only thing missing is a small kitchenette for a microwave and hot/cold filter tap. Otherwise, get most of my productive work done right here!
