Daylesford Mitre 10

Asked for half a metre of sand and stone mix. Was given a quarter of a metre and charged for half a metre. Didn't realise until I ran out and needed more. This time I went to a garden supply place and asked for a half metre. It nearly filled my trailer and it was significantly cheaper! The bucket was twice as big as what was used at the Mitre 10. I will not shop there again!

Better place for plumbing and building materials, can be hard to find a spot to park when busy!

Had no stock of anything I needed. Mitre 10's website had way different prices and stock compared to what was in store. No advice or help from staff. Wasted my time.

Go anywhere but this place the owners who have no product knowledge.
Highly recommend Bunnings and Petstock, at least they will be pleasant to you!

Not a huge store but very helpful staff and organised shelving helps one find what your looking for

Not the easiest place to get a replacement for a faulty product. The staff are friendly but the owners are not always as respectful as they should be.

Pretty good range of products, but consistently overshadowed by poor attitude from some of the owners and staff. Customer service could be adjusted.

Rudest customer service ever. Will never sped money there ever again. Most of the staff with their masks off or hanging around their necks. Asked very politely, explaining someone in my immediate family has cancer and is very vulnerable.the guy started yelling and swearing at me to f-off and go whine somewhere else. I was utterly gob smacked.it is the law to wear mask right now, so not only were most of the staff ignoring the law, they abuse you for asking. JUST AWFUL

Went to get a replacement dryer as the current one has issued. Got it sorted quickly. Helpful staff

I simply cannot believe the level of customer service that comes from the owner and manager Sonya. Over the years I have chosen to shop locally. This decision comes with the integrity meant even though service from the same woman has lacked so very much. I have set my cafe up with table and chairs, phones, replaced phones, speaker systems and replaced speaker systems. Printers, paint etc etc etc. Then to make the call to see if a service is available (the carpet cleaner) to be told I don’t need to book and then rushed off the phone as if I’m not important enough to get the correct information across. I leave Trentham specifically to collect and purchase many cleaning goods to be told on arrival that there is $150 deposit. That’s a lot of money NOT to know about beforehand. I suggested to you Sonya that maybe that information should be given over the phone.you said “yeah, well it is $150”. Do you even care about the way you speak to your customers? I can assure you now my loyalty to shopping locally with you is over. I am beyond appalled Sonya.

The staff membrrs were very friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked, and I got everything I wanted quickly and easily.

Their website said they were open until 5pm on 27th January. I drove the 24 Klms to Daylesford and they were closed. Nearly 50 kilometres drive wasted because they don’t have any thought for customer care. 2 seconds it takes to give the correct information on the website

Great service and advice, staff member was very resourceful and offered cost effective solutions to my mini project, much appreciated Mitre 10 Daylesford.

I asked about getting a chainsaw chain as I've never bought one before. I was told which one I needed and purchased it. After it didn't fit i was told I couldn't return it. They were absolutely unapologetic about it as well. I recommend Stihl, just down the road. Excellent customer service.

I've just moved locally and am in there almost on the daily atm. The staff are always so patient, cheerful and helpful. Will definitely be my local hardware choice

BE WARNED.
When ordering cubic meters be very careful because when i order 7 cubic meters of crush rock only 5 were delivered and when i went back to complain I was told it was a mistake even the driver said that the truck wasn't full but of course the driver had gone home conveniently.

Disappointing service. After moving into the area 8 months ago we used this store multiple times at the beginning, but the service was just really poor. Hard to get service and then most really don't give a damn. Not a lot of interest in helping customers in the store. There are options in the area that have been much better.

Good old fashioned service. The staff were very helpful and walked me around to find item rather than just pointing the way. The even let me have trade price.
