1 I went for Worksafe's day because David Parkin (ex Hawthorn premiership player in the VFL, and triple Carlton premiership coach in the VFL/AFL) was a guest speaker (Along with Brent 'Boomer' Harvey and Sharelle McMahon) Russell Robertston (ex Melbourne AFL player was MC)
For a country football ground, the amenities are better than a lot of suburban grounds.
The bar and function area (Obviously renovated recently) is superb.
I was surprised to see an electronic scoreboard.
There's even 44 gallon drums outside serving as open pot-bellies stoves. And the mandatory sausage sizzle.
The food spread? No-one does food like ladies in the country; savouries and sweets. I swear I only had 12 custard/cream puff balls? And only 6 pasties?
Next time I go, I won't get so distracted, and watch some footy?
