Daylesford Charcoal Chicken

Affordable food compared to the other food places in the main street, quantity was really good. Parma and chips was perfect!

Everything was amazing! Chicken, gravy, salads, mac and cheese all hit the spot. We caught the end of a busy, weekend, lunch rush but they managed well and got us fed.

I'd give this place more stars if it was possible. Good, fresh chicken, owners a lovely lady. Very friendly and the place is spick and span, which means you don't get no nasty surprises in your meal. I would recommend this to everyone to try this place if you're in the area. P. S. The roast chicken here is halal.

No pictures as we were quite hungry but it was delicious. We were late to lunch, around 3: 30 pm, we initially went to a few cafes in Daylesford but their kitchens were closed which is a bit sad, the businesses not taking advantage of the busy months during Christmas and new year after many months of shutdowns and downtime. This grilled chicken shop was the only one that was not only open but had more fresh chickens ready to go on rotisserie.

Great chips and chicken. Friendly service, just disappointed they don't always call you when your order is ready and you're patiently waiting outside while your food is going cold inside.

That was just what I needed!:) The chicken was juicy and delicious and my two salads (Greek and Pasta) were so fresh. Even have a cheeky hot food selection to feed the hangry bf. Super friendly service on top of that, goes a long way. Look forward to stopping in on our next road trip.

$13 for a supermarket roll & 1/4 of a chicken schnitzel? Surely this is not how you run your business & it was just an off night. Chips under cooked. Chicken cold & you dont even offer butter on the rolls?
Clearly you guys are lucky that you are the only chicken shop in daylesford, because you would not have a business otherwise.

Not knowing the area well, I decided to try this place because of the glorious smells wafting out onto the street as I walked past.

The chicken burgers were fabulous and fresh AS! A little messy due to the delicious juiciness of the burger and salad but all sorted with a napkin.

The pumpkin salad is the best I have ever tasted! If I had known that it would be that good, I would have ordered a larger amount because when I came back to get more, they were sold out! Doh!

They are on a well deserved break atm but will be open again on 14/01/2020. Can barely wait!

The worst Parma you can eat. Horrible tasteless chewy. The outer covering was sooo thick and chicken inside was dry and like rubber

Took my dog to Lake Daylesford and he ended up sniffing out a 20 dollar note.

Winner winner chicken dinner. Thats what led us to this take out which was finger licking good.
