Had a couple of parmas here the other night. They were very poor. Gave it another shot a week later with a few people. P, eased to say that all meals (including a VASTLY improved Parma) were rated as good.

Lovely staff, regular diner but haven’t been back for a few months.

Menu is very limited, lovely team - both chefs and floor staff but food wasn’t great for the price.

Chicken Parma $30 which I haven’t an issue paying but it’s the low grade heart shape chicken sniz - yes the ones you see in the Coles deli! Soggy and came with a small side of green salad and chips. Come on team - you can’t serve this kind of chicken for these prices.

It’s not hard to buy an actual chicken breast and have your kitchen team create a crumbed seasoned fillet with taste.

It’s usually a packed house on a Saturday night with lots of locals… tonight the place was empty - explains the situation.

Sorry but I won’t returning until I hear the place has improved its food.

Food is really good on Greek Night and great drinks. Lenny is a great chef with warm hospitality, he knows at least 11 cuisines. All the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

We were recommended by Curious Antique coz apparently the beers are cheap, and that's the real local. She was right.
Relaxing 3 hours in the sun on the deck, drinking, soaking in the sun, even fell asleep where I sat.
Great staff, and excellent price.

Really easy and delicious meal for me and my 2 young kids. The steak was really great, and the kids devoured the pasta bolognaise and schnitzel with a side of veg. Service was excellent though it wasn't busy. We will be back.

Came for the Thursday night Steak night absolutely delicious and thoughtfully crafted food, great place for cheap and enjoyable drinks

Went with a big group, service was good but food was terrible.

Chicken Parma was obviously frozen, the breaded coating came off in huge chunks when I went to cut it.

Friends ordered a calamari which was shriveled. The fish & chips was also bad, was soft and mushy on the inside.

My partner & l had breakfast and dinner here.
Excellent customer service, great value and the food was A1.highly recommended.

New chef and menu, very good service from efficient and friendly staff. The food is well prepared and presented. Servings are generous and very tasty. Menu has a broad range and daily specials are featured on the board above counter. Overall very enjoyable experience.

If I could give this place no stars I would. We often go to this place on a Sunday in the past knowing the meals would be good but on Father's day felt ashamed to have suggested this place for the special day. I figure our meals would have totalled over $180 and no one at the table of 6 could say anything nice about the meal, maybe I pumped the place up too much. It took over 28 minutes to serve the table with all the meals. My daughter was served first and my grandson some 28 minutes later got his meal (12 years old), everyone had finished theirs. The old chef left some 2 months ago (we didn't know that) and the guy there now cannot be called a chef let alone a cook. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

If you're in Daylesford for a break/stopover, do yourself a favour and head to the new & improved Dining room @ the Bowling Club on Camp Street for a spot of Dinner. Very friendly/helpful Staff, great Customer service. The Menu shouldn't disappoint as plenty to suit all tastes. The Meals were priced well and must say a tad oversized but enjoyed every bite of our Meals, no complaints whatsoever.

Was driving through Daylesford on a Friday night and we didn't have a booking so we tried our luck for a walk in meal.

Lucky for us the girls sorted us a spot, I had the Philly steak sandwich and it was amazing.
My partner had the seafood pasta aglioli and she enjoyed her meal too, very generous serves

The best meal and plenty of it, had visitors from Tasmania they were very impressed with meal and service, there were 25 of us and we ate all at the same time, Well done to Lee and her staff

Great place for a relaxed family dinner. Food was terrific. Great atmosphere with traditional raffle draw and prizes in support of the club. Good value for money too.

Great little find. Good food friendly staff large servings. And wine and beer half the price of hotels. Will be back

This place is now my place for my "weekend getaways! " If wanting to support a local business/lovely staff/lovely food menu then definitely come to the bowls club!

Great place to have a drink whether inside or out on the deck. Very friendly and helpful staff. A far cry from the Royal Daylesford where the price for the same drinks was double! My partner queried the price of the drinks and was told in no uncertain terms that it was correct. The staff at the Royal Daylesford need to learn some customer service skills and manners!

We visited the bowling club while staying in hepburn springs. We had lunch there. It was a really lovely atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. The meal was fantastic. I had the parma and my husband had the steak. Both were great meals. Had a go on the pokies while my Husband watch the cricket. A great afternoon out. Thank you staff at the bowling club highly recommended a visit.
