daydreamers cafe reviews
30Love Daydreamers Cafe and go quite a bit! The only feedback I'd like to give is to change the menu up from time to time. I finish up going elsewhere from time to time because the menu has been the same forever!
A family member and his fiance booked their wedding there fMarch 16 2024. The booking was cancelled 3 months in advance due to serious illness. This establishment refused to refund their deposit. It beats me how that is legal. I have been a patron in the past. No more. I value my money too much in waste it in that rathole.
*** Edit. In response to the owner's reply I have spoken to the mentioned guests and they have NOT received an email from the owner nor have they received a refund. That's what I'm upset about.
This is such a cosy little place. I'll be looking for an excuse to come back and eat here again. The portions are extremely generous and everything I sampled was mouth-wateringly-delish
The 3 to 4 times I have visited, lunch and breakfast, I have not been disappointed with food or service.
Food & coffee are always amazing here. Never had a bad meal. Staff are very friendly & accommodating too. Gets a little hard to have a conversation at times as music can be a little too loud.
Large, busy cafe with delicious food. The outdoor area is spacious with plenty of natural light.
Good coffee and good food, friendly service, a rare combination to get all three
these days
Beautiful atmosphere, great vibes, my highlight was the AMAZING coffee made by Sally! Best coffee I’ve had in a very long time! 10/10
Other than finding a car park, I can not fault this place. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. The food was great. Was lovely and clean. We had a mothera group catch up here with 6 prams and they all fit at the front of the cafe which was always a worry.
Relaxing large indoor/outdoor cafe. Delicious food with generous serving size. The only fault was being forgotten about by the waitress once we were seated outside. There is table service, but we had to go up to order.
Great venue, great menu! Can't wait to return and try more options. The breakfast pavlova was sensational!
I went in and ordered an ice latte, with skim milk. Received my latte with full cream (which I can't drink as I'll get very ill), I sent it back and she re made it claiming it was skim milk.it wasn't. I complained to another staff member who then told me that they actually don't have skim milk at the moment.
Excellent hawaiian poke and chai.we would have enjoyed the pulled pork if it was more bbq like and smokey instead of being plain;)
Our food was well below par. I get that there is a potato shortage at the moment, but putting sub standard food on a plate and still charging the same is not great for customers. It's not my fault either, but I am the one paying for it. Beef burger was expensive for what you got as it was mostly bread. I cut off the excess bread and ended up with a burger the size of a cheeseburger. Venue was nice and had a good atmosphere, although when busy is very noisy and hard to hear people on your table. We won't be back.
Excellent food. This is the Mushroom Madness dish which was delicious. Service was prompt and pleasant.
We’ve loved Daydreamers for years and often come for breakfast. Today’s visit has put a dampener on that unfortunately.
When we arrived, we politely asked if the 2 of us could be seated at a booth as other booths only had 2 people so we assumed it would be okay. The waitress bluntly told us they were only for 3/4 people and said “the other couples must have lied”, then suggested we lie next time we visited.
We sat outside which was really lovely, under the tree - I’d recommend sitting here if you do visit.
We ordered the mango cheesecake hotcakes and eggs on toast, and after seeing someone else order a mimosa, decided to get a mimosa each as well. They weren’t on the cocktail menu, so we weren’t advised of the price but assumed they’d be $10-15 each in line with other cafes and restaurants.
When we came to pay, the mimosas had been put under another $18 cocktail. We queried this, and they checked and said the mimosas were in fact $18 each. Pretty exorbitant for a half glass of cheap sparkling wine & supermarket orange juice! One mimosa was more than the eggs and toast we ordered.
Our total breakfast was $75, and although the food was good, it definitely wasn’t worth $75. Sadly we won’t be returning.
I'm stoked with my experience today. Ramona was lovely I was welcomed from the start. My server Lee was attentive and kind. The food was well presented and delicious and arrived promptly.
Can't wait to go back. For sure one of the best cafes in Casey if not the best. So many thanks guys for a great day.
Overall was not bad but I was disappointed coz they didn't add Chili in breakfast burger when it was mentioned in ingredients as per the menu.
This Cafe was a treat for all senses. I went with my daughter. Environment is welcoming and very calm. Covid protocols were followed. We ordered a mango hotcakes and a poke bowl. Definitely returning! Love this place. Highly recommend
Service was great!
We sat out the back on the deck which was great today with the heaters on and all the wind blocked out.
The chilli scrambled eggs on sour dough was as tasty as it was aesthetically appealing.
The purple super smoothie was delicious, definitely could have been a meal on its own
