Prices are excellent and the quality has always been great. Often get full scotch fillet, eye fillet or brisket here and never had cause to complain. Their steaks have always been good too, highly recommended.

Cheapest brisket in Ballarat. But the quality is not always the best. Sometimes there is a lot of fat on the roasts. The BBQ meat packs are really good value. And,
They also do full lambs for spit. (but you need to pre order) They have a large range of pet meat and bones. But, the sausages are pretty average.
They also have a small good section, salami etc, but I'm yet to try it.
All up, I still purchase from them, as they are qood value for money. But I do go else where for my good quality steaks etc. So I'm giving them 3 stars.

We came in for a meat pack. We were unaware that we should have phoned ahead. But the lovely young lady that served us made up our pack. Will definitely be going back

Steak has been tough as boot leather and no flavour. Sauages full of rubbish and mince been very fatty. Very disappointed with the quality lately

We buy 10k of chicken frames every week to feed our dingos. The quality is almost always good and when we did have an issue they fixed it right away. We also buy steaks and other meats for us. We've never been disappointed!

Usually great customer service except for today! The quality of the meat is great. I am giving the 2 stars because of the lack of customer service I was given this afternoon 16/09/2020. A young girl who was behind the counter asked what I would like, I gave her the meat out of the fridge that I had chosen and asked if I could please also get some other meat. Once she had grabbed what I asked for she said “Is there anything else? ” I said no thank you, that is all. She then told me the amount no please or thank you. I used the eftpos machine and she said “do you want a bag? ” I said “No Thank you” and that was the end of the service. No asking if I would like a receipt, I didn’t even know if the purchase had gone through, I grabbed the meat and said thank you and see you later. I didn’t get one reply. Not 1! It is hard to read about the way people speak because you can’t read it with the tone of voice that the girl was speaking to me with! She was very rude, short and snappy. We all have bad days but if you are at work you still need to show respect. Especially since I was. I can understand the attitude if I had of spoken to her the way she spoke to me but my mother always told me to treat people the way you want to be treated. I am very disappointed because usually I walk into Davis meats and I am welcomed with wonderful customer service.

I buy pet mince for my pets here- 10kg for 5 bucks.you cant get any better than that else where, and its not full of bone fragments or made up of fat as like some other butchers pass off for pet mince.
