Darn Cheap Fabrics

Had such an amazing experience at the store. It was my first time shopping for fabrics and i’m new to sewing so I didn’t really know what i needed or even what measurements to get but the staff were really friendly and helped me pick everything which made the experience much less stressful. They were super accommodating to my lack of knowledge on everything and so friendly to me. I wish i had a name to shoutout but the lady that served me was so so helpful thank you so much.

Just popped in to pick up some odds and ends for some projects that never seem to end! The person that helped me was very helpful, showing me multiple options and making some great suggestions without pressure! You don’t get that (or any!) service at Spotlight! Love!

Somehow they always seem to have exactly what I want, even when it's something obscure that I think nobody would have. Love this place, staff are excellent, prices great.

Rudest staff on Burgundy Street.first time I visited I was appalled at how disrespectful and unhelpful the 2 young ladies were. Thought I'd try again.couple weeks later, even worse. Was just ignored by staff. Third time, staff approached my then 2&1/2 year old boy and told him not to touch anything. Rude and I felt judged.
Never going back.

The ladies in this store know about fabrics & patterns. They can make suggestions & give advice if needed. Very friendly & helpful.

Ordered three fabrics on 9 September 2020. The purchase confirmation and tracking detail email were very prompt, as was delivery: on 14 September (admittedly didn't have far to go since I'm in greater Melbourne area). Well-packaged, and fabrics as per website description. A small practical gift included (thank you!). Very pleased. Would use again.

Today I tried calling the store 3 times to confirm if the store was shut earlier then usual times and I never received a call back or an answer any of the times I called. Went to the store as the website still said it was open but it was shut. Please edit the site as it was a waste of time going somewhere that isn’t close by to be closed. Apart from this I love the store and the prices are amazing, the staff is also lovely.

Very deceptive, small outside, big inside. Well worth the trip from the north-west for material I can not find in other big chain craft stores for the price they are selling for. Love it there even though I have been in once. Definitely going to make the most of the beach when I go there as well

This is a treasure trove of haberdashery and fabric! Great range, always busy, but great service anyway. It's so good to have these independent places still.
