Darac reviews
47Food was incredible, the establishment was very aesthetically pleasing and the customer service was incredible, also it was great value for what you pay go check it out.
Really great food and great staff. Food selection was great and quality was high. Excellent value for money.
We like to visit here as it's a lovely little place that isn't busy in the early evening. Great food and service
The testimony was so delicious
Gamjatang, I ate it twice, I ate it three times, I kept eating it.
Incredibly soft.other-worldly soft.
Darac is a go to spot. The army stew is great. We get the spicy seafood sausage and it comes with additional stuff like spam and macaroni. Only concern is with the portion sizes which seem to have changed. Lady serving us was friendly too.
Group of our friends attended to this place on a Saturday late night and the food was really good. It was not so busy as it was just before midnight, howver the team was warm and welcoming. They even made alterations to one of their dishes to cater to my frinds' dietary preferences. Really tasty food. Affordable price for the quantity that they serve. Definitely recommend this place
Me and my friend decided to come to Darac cause it just few foot steps away from my house. We ordered Ox Tongue, Fried Chicken Wings and Jajangmyeon for dine in. I must say the Fried Chicken Wings was my favourite. The Ox Tongue was so soft and flavour of Jajangmyeon could not go wrong, absolutely delicious. I wanted to order more because the Galbi and Army Stew look super tempted, but I will save it for next time when I bring more friends here. And we also have 2 cocktails, which was Yakult Soju and something…Frog (made with midori). Both of us ended up getting stuffed and incredibly happy about the dinner. Highly recommend Darac!
We went to yesterday for a working lunch, there was 8 of us, all the meals were great, service was a little slow but no complaints. Worth a try!
Good place for daily meals
Been here twice
Price is responsible
We order some seafood soup, and fried rice cake. Wow. So spicy so good
Table was too small, cuz we order too much. Later they helped us change into. Big one
Service average
Will come back.
A decent Korean joint. The best and the most famous dish they serve here is the army stew. I would probably give 5 stars just for that. It came with a good portion and well priced. The other dishes are just average.
Darac Grill & Bar was a Korean restaurant located quite hidden on A’Beckett St in the CBD. I was told they were famous for their stews, so we decided to order their Pork Shabushabu sausage stew with ramen and a side of corn cheese. The stew was massive in portion (enough to feed 4!) and came with a nicely balanced mix of vege and meat. The soup was very flavourful, and of course everything was so fresh as it was cooked right in front of you. The restaurant itself was quite small and stuffy unfortunately, but service was friendly and prompt.
Very good Korean soups and food! Fried chicken sweet chilly not so much, almost tasted like it was straight from the bottle
Fried chicken was ok some of them were very dry probably overcooked also found quite few “surprises”
Great galbijim and seafood pancake. The dish was bathed in a robust, sweet sauce and the meat came off the bone easily. The seafood pancake was satisfyingly crunchy and flavoursome.
The BBQ pork ribs, however, were atrocious; a haphazard mess of stringy meat that tasted old and microwaved, without a trace of BBQ. The apologetic waiter called the chef out, who seemed rather uninterested and detached.
The man at the counter couldn't care less about the situation and didn't say a word when the bill was paid.
The waiter should run the place and teach the others some basic hospitality. Won't be returning.
We were so hungry, forgot to take pictures. Decently priced, low key Korean restaurant! I would come back again.
Mediocre at best, seafood soup contained seafood that had been frozen for years, bimbibap lacked any flavors.
Great food. Polite staff. Good service. Would recommend if you're looking for a not so expensive yet great place to enjoy Korean food.
We had dinner taste was 7/10 for me, plenty choices on the menu which were great and customer service was good too. Very helpful and friendly staff. Price is okay but would be better to provide good authentic side dishes before the meal arrive like many Korean places do.
This cute little cosy restaurant worth to check out! Service very efficient! We got the budae jigae (army stew) on the menu known as pork shabushabu sausage, must have corn cheese, chicken valcano and cheese pork cutlets.
Not the Korean food connoisseur but I really did enjoy the food here.
We got the bulgogi bbq set and teboki, along with a couple of cocktails.
It's ok if you don't know how to do Korean BBQ, they staff here are very tentative and always keep an eye on your food, they will turn the meat and adjust the heat accordingly. The Kim chi stew that came with the bbq set is perfect for a cold night.
Cocktails were mediocre, however at $9 it's too cheap to take a star away.
I will be back! Although highly recommend making a booking, even if you do come at 6pm for early dinner
