Danny's Burgers reviews
64Ordered The Works Burger and chips for delivery! Finally had a taste of the Legendary Danny's, and hotdamn it was tasty! The patty was nice and juicy, and all the topping were so much fun. Chips were nice and salty, surprisingly hot as well. Thank you for solving my hangover.
Used to be better before, but now it doesn't taste that fresh.
Three guy taking the other is grumpy and inpatient.
None of the staff uses any gloves there
Always good burgers. Nothing fancy, like a fish and chip shop. Chips are good, could be better, for me the history of the place does compensate. Recommended for a local no fuss burger joint. I really like how you can call ahead and make an order, dosen't matter what time, afternoon or night it will be ready in 10 minutes and the price is reasonable. I wouldn't compare this place to Grill'd or other national burger chains because the taste really is different. I go back to a great, local burger shop.
Burgers are massive, great value for money. The vibe is very 90s. Menu is confusing and you end up ordering from their meals. Don't expect a wow from the flavours it was missing character to it. Chips are thick cut and also lacking that punch. It's one of those places where I say "been there done that" and will not be top of mind when craving burgers.
They claim to be the best burgers and I would totally agree with that. This tiny place has some of the best burgers to offer. It has always been a go to place. The service has also been very good specially John. Thanks a lot for such an amazing time always!
Great spot for that Steak sandwich and really good milk shake at night, been a few times and alway enjoyed their food.
The burgers are nice but they sure need a lesson or two about customer service. They don't need to smile or be charming but a little courtesy such as greetings would be great, it would make anyone feel welcome. Also when my friend, needed to add an item to his order, he was just ignored because he already paid.
One of the best burgers in Melbourne. Got takeaway and sat by the creek nearby, suddenly felt like I was in the Dandenongs. Definitely coming back someday.
Danny's is the burger joint for all burger joints to idolise. They don't have a point to prove just eat the burger and shut your mouth. Perfection for what i wanted and could ever expect
Excellent old school burgers that will dribble down your face and have you salivating for more!
A recommended regular.
Quite liked the burger and loved that it's open late and social. A good stop over for end or start of a big night out.
Burgers weren't bad nor were they very good. If i could describe the burger i had, it would be something i could cook up in the backyard over a weekend. It's a BBQ burger opposed to a Gourmet burger.
Staff were friendly though and the venue was spacious.
The burgers and chips take me back to when I was a kid.
One of the best burgers joints in Melbourne for sure.
I have been going to Danny's Burgers for over 20 years. It never disappoints after a massive night drinking.
Best burger place in town. Always fresh, always tasty. If you’re in the mood for a burger, do not hesitate to go here. 10/10
Great service. Great burgers. Taste amazing and full of flavour. Size is very generous. Staff are friendly and the old bloke that looked like he was in charge builds rapport very easily. Will definitely be going again!
Danny's burgers has always been consistent with quality, taste, and fast friendly service. Have been going there for years, it may be small and tight for seating, but the food overrides this issue.
The best hamburgers in Melbourne old fashioned style burgers where they press the onion in to the Pattie and it gets a lovely flavour from the cooked onion.
Tried all the broadsheet recommended burger places and to me this is one of the best.if you remember those awesome wholesome burgers from your local fish and chips this is one of those.
Straight Classic, no weird gimmicks.
I got a burger with the lot and all ingredients were very fresh and tasty, they cut it in half too which is perfect for handling it.
Chips were excellent and crunchy, no shoe string in sight
Waiting for my meal looking around you can tell there’s experienced guys behind the grill that actually care about what they make.
I never write reviews but had too as i was so impressed
The fit out is classic, a breath of fresh air in all the bells and whistles other places try to do these guys just keep it real, nice and simple
Great old-style burgers. Fresh and affordable.
. But at least a few years back they were paying below minimum wage, so I don't go here anymore.
