Daniel’s Donuts Portarlington

They were some what busy, but still saw a staff member standing around instead of helping make milkshakes for the 2 doing coffees and they were under the pump, made people wait 1/2 hour before they call someone to come and make them. If there is going to be more that a 10 minute wait when you are a to go business let people know so they don’t wait 45 mins for a milkshake.

Best Donuts around, always buy a 6 pack best value for your money.
Tried the Bubblegum Boo for Halloween not bad bit to sweet for me.

Daniel's has the yummiest most delicious donuts greatest choice of fillings.
It's an absolute delight watching childrens faces when seeing them for the first time, I love taking my grandson there and seeing the look on his face when trying to decide which one he wants.
A definite place to surprise a child and to see their faces

I was with a large party, all ordering from a great selection of Doughnuts and plenty of other savouries. The service was good friendly staff very attentive.

Great coffee, absolutely delicious doughnuts, good service.
However this business is sadly let down by its environmental sustainability practices.
We ate in yet were served our coffee in disposable paper cups with each doughnut coming in its own cardboard and plastic box.
No reason why food and drinks weren't served on crockery that could be washed and reused instead of generating such waste.

Donuts today were stale and staff seem disinterested. When the store first opened the donuts were consistently good.

Great place. Wasn't overly busy when I went. Was served quickly. Plenty of choice. Bought a 6 pack box and coffee. Also bought their brand of cups that come with their own matching coloured spoon. Not over priced which was a change. There are tables outside with a lovely view in the Portarlington store. They also have great music playing.

First time trying Daniel's donuts and let me just say, I'm glad I did! They have a wide variety of delicious, mouth watering donuts, but even more to my delight, was the incredible range of pies!

I bought a total of 4 pies and a donut on my first visit and dined in to try them all that second. I had the potato top pie, curry pie, chunk steak and pepper pie and a new zealander pie, complimented by a raspberry and white choc donut!

My tummy was full and my tastebuds were more than satisfied!

Way too many choices. Didn't know you could have so many different donuts. Would recommend.

Got a strawberry iced doughnut, took one bite and threw it out. I don't know how you can fail on such a simple doughnut. Icing wasn't icing at all, rather some sort of oily, greasy butter cream that was tasteless.

Staff were extremely rude and donuts aren't that great! Hopeful that the donut van that locals and tourists have come to know and love makes a return soon!

Lots of choices and friendly service, the don't are more like a filled donut or cream/custard bun. They are well made but. Not really to my liking.

Omg love the donuts here. I had Caramel cheese cake it was Devine and my bf had peanut butter and jam. So delish.

Great donuts, and great range. Service was a bit slow, especially waiting on just 2 milkshakes. Shouldn't take 15mins to make 2 milkshakes when they're not busy doing something else. Just slow.

What a go getter. Everyone seems to love, including me. Great service, lovely donuts, good prices, clean shop at Portarlington. Yummy!

The server knew to double-cup a long black. That gets 5 stars automatically. Also they were lovely, and the food is the usual high Daniel's standard.

What a treat…. Location is out of the way but worth the ride. Daniel’s donuts has a selection of over 50 freshly made delicious donuts that will suit everyone’s appetite.

Day trip to Portarlington with family and friends and explore the little seaside town. Great outdoor play available or even a quick jump onto the ferry to the other side of the bay.

Clem, I couldn't coscionably give this place a good rating as it probably represents our sugar-crazed society and the vast health ramifications that come with it. That said, apparently the donuts are pretty nice, so if yer in town and feeling like a fix, maybe it's a good place to stop.
