Dandenong Market reviews
67A plethora of different things to try and buy, the best priced fruit and veg and great bargains, plenty to see and do. And public toilets nearby.
Love the Dandy market. A lot of different vendors with great options and prices. I would definitely recommend walking through the whole market and checking out all the vendors. The prices and quality of the fruits and vegetables vary from vendors. I find it gets really busy later in the afternoon. You do get better deals towards the end of the day.
One of the biggest markets in Melbourne, will get all types of vegetables and fruits at reasonable price
Varieties of fruits and veggies to choose from. Very fresh. Suitable to visit before 9AM which gets crowded afterwards and very difficult to find parking.
Vibrating Market, where you can find everything from all around the world. I just love the place.
Tried to get a keyfob from PJs keys and all I got was a loss of my vehicle for 26 days.
If you want something here check the item isn't faulty as I waited for the keyfob that didn't come I also brought moccasins that after a couple of weeks are falling apart.
The price are above the sky better to buy from Colse or WW fresh and of course clean but at this market always pay cash if you pay by card they’ll charge you 1.35 extra no trolly at all
Great food on offer, a fantastic get together with dozens of cultures all blending in together to make this market unique to all of Melbourne.
Love it here
A bit rough and ready - but this is not Colesworth. Decent range of fruit and vegetables at prices that make the trip to this market worthwhile. Pay parking is a pain - as usual.
Great market cheap prices. Pity there are less stalls now, the greedy landlords must be sending them broke with excessive rent. It is sad how greed destroys things
Lots of parking available and fresh produce. Can get crowded at times but that’s just a testament to the value of the place. Service can be hit or miss but it could just be due to new hires after lockdown — would definitely recommend a visit!
The recent take up of the Afghan fruit and vegetable market traders has significantly elevated this market to selling very fresh quality produce at low prices. Strongly recommend the drive as there is ample free parking just outside the market.
Love the Dandy market-it has everything you could want, cheap clothes, cheap fruit & vegies, cheap pet supplies, amazing hot food available for a great lunch and finish off your shop with some fresh cut flowers!
Complete market experience, sights, sounds, smells ;). They’ve done a great job with the renovation, value shoppers paradise.
I love going to Dandenong Market. There is one at the very top end they just opened up. They have the freshest seafood and a large variety of fishes to choose from. It's also lot cheaper than any other fish markets in Melbourne.
Great place to do your fruit and vege shopping. Check out sansans dumplings. Kadak Chai. Sugar Cane Juice stall.
Good selection of anything you want. Best Indian street food in Melbourne. The owner cooks all the food herself. The chicken biriani is the best. Such nice flavours with the basmati rice.
Dandenong Market offers everyone freshest produce including fresh vegetables and fruits, meats, fish, delicious foods representing variety of foods from different cultures and cuisines. Beautiful flowers from the market stalls. It's vibrant atmosphere people are friendly. I love the honey from Hart's Honey stall is one of my favorites.
Great range of fruit and veg and meats. Great value. Courteous staff. This place is, well, great!
