Teacher was fantastic however, I found the communication not the best. After withdrawing my daughter I was still billed and receiving multiple emails every day about classes, concerts that didn't even relate to my daughters class.

My daughter started ready set ballet at around 3 years old and absolutely loves it! Every week she is so exciting to go to her ballet classes to see her new friend and Miss Prianna. Brings me so much joy to see her come out of her shell. Thank you so much Miss Prianna.

My daughter absolutely loves her ballet class on a Friday morning she gets so very excited and is so much more confident on going in on her own now. She is definitely learning, engaging and making some friends. That consistent follow up individual communication with the parents is fantastic, quick and easy and always there to help answer any questions. They are very professional and offer so much variety in their classes for all kids to give a go and enjoy. I would highly recommend dancestruck for any parent of a child who wants to let their little inner performer come out!

During lockdown I chose this dance school and it went quite well
when my daughter was having online classes.

Soon the lockdown finished, I chose to continue having online class which the school has provided this option for the students as well.

Then everything just went wrong from that time. It was like we were forgotten and abandoned, the teacher kept forgot letting my daughter in the zoom classes and if you are a parent, you should know how disappointed and helpless the kid were at that time when seeing time clicking gone for 20mins 30mins…with just waiting for the teacher to let her into the zoom classroom. I called, no one answered…sent messages, with some late response which the class has only 20-25mins time left. It truly makes every class like a struggling and unconcerned suffering.

Until today, it was the last class of this term and it happened again! I even messaged the teacher 10mins earlier to remind her, they still let us waiting for 15mins without let my daughter into the zoom room until my husband drove straight to the school. Apologies with many reasons which just showed they have done nothing wrong like you can receive from many companies, and suggesting it’s our problem not backing to the studio to avoid setting zoom in 2 mins letting student in.

My daughter now is having her last zoom class after all those. Thank god she won’t be that disappointed. But I am!
And 2 stars is for the hard working of the teachers and in time response during lockdown. That all I can rate.

Dancestruck provides dance education above and beyond so many schools in our area. We have had a look at many dance schools before discovering Dancestruck through a family friend, who had only the best things to say about them. We found that the schools we had visited could be divided into 2 categories - 1. Dancing for fun, where the kids were not really taught anything and 2. Professional dancing, where kids were expected to dance for 16 hours per week and were well taught. My kids have many other interests, so the second option was not practical and plus the strain on the young body was enormous. And I didn't see the point of the second option because my kids were already doing 4 hours of dancing a week, so paying for "fun dancing", was not something I could afford.
At Dancestruck, the kids are expected to do be doing a ballet class twice a week, which as any dancer would know, sets the foundation for any dance style, and if they want, on top of that, they can do as many other dance styles as they want. So there are kids there that do 2 hours a week and kids that do 18 hours a week. What sets Dancestruck apart from the other dance schools we have seen, is that no matter how many hours you do, you are taught high quality material to the internationally acclaimed standards, with humour and fun weaved in. Within 3 months of starting at Dancestruck, my kids' teachers at their other activities couldn't believe how much progress they made in such a short period of time!
Even in the lockdowns, the classes are continued for the same duration and the same standard as at the dance studio. They are continuing to work on their technique and preparing for the end of the year performance.
I would recommend Dancestruck to anyone who wants to give their children a fantastic education in the area of dance!

My daughter has been attending Dancestruck since she was 3 years and she loves it. She takes Jazz, Acrobatics and Ballet. Her dance instructors have all been professional and fun…not to mention really talented in their own right. She continues to flourish as dancer
She has the opportunity to learn and excel in all the genres of dance.
Teachers are all very enthusiastic and energetic to push kids to be able to pull out their best. Thank you so much:

Dancestruck is a great place for our younger stars of the future, to get a real taste of a range of techniques and styles of dance. Happy little faces going in and out every Saturday morning make me smile.

If you’re looking for a Dance Studio for your child, make sure you come down and take a Free Trial Class @ Dancestruck! We have been associated with Dancestruck for nearly 10 years now. My girls have loved learning to explore, learn and perform in all things dance with Miss Catherine and her Team @ The Clayton Studio. The Saturday Classes offered for my girls, when they were younger, was what first attracted me to Dancestruck - this meant being a working Mum, that “I” could get my girls there! It didn’t take long before we became like pieces of the furniture... Nearly 10 years later, we still look forward to RAD Exams, Mid Year Concerts, End of Year Concerts and photo days! The friendships formed through the love of dance will last a lifetime and their love of dance will never fade. Miss Catherine, her sister, Miss Belinda and the Team, are all fantastic teachers. The Dance Studio offers multiple genres of dance, with Costumes, including Tutu’s (that don’t require sewing by Mothers -) that are just stunning! Have I convinced you yet? If you’re looking, contact Dancestruck today, as they offer free trials at any time of the year, in every genre...
