Love Dance Stream! Miss Tamara I honestly couldn’t speak more highly of, she is a breath of fresh air! She is always happy and bubbly for the kids, but also so great with teaching them the proper techniques & all they need to know. She is patient & caring, my daughter is loving her so much & her tap class & they honestly go the extra mile here because you can tell that they genuinely care. Highly recommended!

I would give this place a higher rating if they were truly upfront and honest about their fees from the get go, however unfortunately they aren't. They appear to offer low cost lessons however what they neglect to make clear from the start is that you will also HAVE to pay an additional $50 for their hoodie (my daughter would literally never wear this, I won't be pressured to buy something I don't want or need) when you sign up, then after that they then tell you that you also HAVE to buy their leotard then also ballet shoes and tights. You aren't told about these additional items until AFTER you've signed up and paid your invoice (why aren't they in the original invoice?). The problem here is not so much about having a 'uniform' though I do disagree with this for what could be a child's passing interest, but the cloak and dagger nature of it all, and the lack of being upfront with parents from the get go. Most places allow you to buy whatever dance wear from wherever you can afford, such as kmart, and don't expect parents to buy a uniform for a class their child might do for no more than a term. When I raised concern about these additional costs I was directed to a Facebook group where you could purchase second hand uniform, yet my request to join this group was never accepted before the invoice was due. Even if my child loved the class, I wouldn't choose to go somewhere that operates like this. We are going elsewhere, somewhere slightly (only just) more expensive but completely transparent.

I had a very short tenure with DSV. I had joined their adult hip hop class during last year's very last term, and then due to my own health issues, I had to miss quite a few classes, and ultimately stop dancing altogether. But in that short period of time, the staff have been simply amazing. Beyond the wonderful classes itself, DSV has been very helpful say for example, in terms of fees, and being super prompt with communication, be it via email or other formats. Highly recommended ️
