Dance Effects Performing Arts Studio

I have been fortunate to be part of the DFX Family since September 2019, when I was hired to fill in for a teacher who was relocating interstate for a short time. Now, in 2023, I'm still here, and I have had the pleasure of not only teaching, but getting to know the beautiful students who call DFX their second home, and watching them grow into accomplished dancers and amazing young humans. My students have had many successes in both their Royal Academy of Dance Ballet Examinations, with consistently high marks, as well as State and National competitions, where they represent DFX, myself as their teacher, and themselves beautifully and with grace.
John and Rebecca, the owners are incredibly supportive and have created a nurturing environment, creating an atmosphere of family, whilst also allowing and encouraging dancers to shine as individuals.

We have been going to DFX for almost 6 years now, and would not go anywhere else.
It's an amazing learning and supportive environment with a wonderful faculty and staff.
My daughter has been going since she was a tinie at the age of 3.she loves DFX and quite honestly, as a parent, so do I!

My daughter has been dancing at Dance Effects since she was 4. She is now 17 and wants to pursue a career in Dance and Musical Theatre. This is solely attributed to the dance school, John and Rebecca Demicoli and all the wonderful supportive teachers there. My daughter is also an assistant teacher in some of the classes and loves doing this! 10/10 for Dance Effects!

We LOVE DFX, our daughter has been going to jazz, tap, ballet & hip hop classes for three years now and always looks forward to it. The team are fun, enthusiastic & very approachable. Inside the studio there is a little cafe which makes a awesome coffee so you can relax while your child does Their class. Highly recommend Dfx to any one looking for a great dance school

I have been dancing at dfx for 10 years now, dfx is my second home.love seeing the smiling faces and warm welcome each day and love learning choreography from amazingly skilled teachers, as well as seeing my friends that i have made from the dance school.there is such a variety of classes and styles of dance, singing and musical theatre included.there are also examination and competition classes that are available for people wanting to push themselves that little bit further.dfx has their own special homework room, where you can chillax and unwind, do your schoolwork and get ready for class.not to mention their cafe, which has many quick food options for before class or even for a coffee for the parents.overall, dfx has been an amazing, safe place for me to grow up in and will definitely be staying there for a long time.

My daughter Gabby has been dancing at DFX since she was 3 and a half years old and now 14 years on at the age of 17 she is still dancing and loving every moment. She has made life long friendships with in the dance school and feels like her second home. We are one big multicultural family and no one is discriminated against, and all is always made to feel welcome. With an amazing concert at the end of the year, which is always one to look forward to, to many troupe competitions and duo and solo competitions that quite a few dancers are now involved including my daughter which has taken her solos and duo routines to nationals and are national winners two years running (2022 &2023) with of course the talented teachers that choreographed her routines. You will not be disappointed if you were to come and join our dfx family your child young or old will experience and amazing environment always.

Great dance school, great people. Average parking facilities because it's shared with other businesses. But bearable.

OMG. This is the best dance studio ever. My kids can now dance, I can now dance. But my wife still can't dance. I should enroll her too, but this studio is more suited to kids. The staff are awesome, and it's so popular that the worst thing about the place is trying to get a parking spot.

Awesome dancing school, my kids have just started this year but already I have seen them progress with leaps and bounds. Highly recommended
