I have MASSIVE dentist anxiety, to the point where I shake and cry at the very THOUGHT of getting in that chair. But weeks of putting up with intense pain finally drove me to Dana St Dental… and I’m kicking myself for not having gone sooner.
My dentist - Dennis - was beyond brilliant. His chair-side manner is second to none: he calmly and clearly explained everything that I could expect, listened to my panicky ramble, answered my delirious questions. When it came time for my procedure (a root canal: two ordinarily terrifying words!), he and the equally brilliant dental nurses ensured I was comfortable and properly sedated (nitrous oxide) before beginning. With laughing gas in my system and a great Netflix docco playing on the ceiling, I barely noticed the dental work going on AT ALL! That’s saying a LOT for the person who usually cries just from having their teeth professionally cleaned.
If you too are the type to NOPE at the thought of going to the dentist, I hugely recommend giving Dana St Dental a go. Everyone there - from reception to nurses to dentist - is professional, kind, understanding and thorough. Thanks so much, folks!

Dana Street Dental is fantastic, especially Dr. Claire! From the very beginning when I started to attend the clinic I felt welcomed, very well looked after and never judged!
My entire family now attends Dana Street Dental and see’s Dr. Claire, and instead of being scared (because let’s be honest no one likes the dentist) we aren’t scared and actually look forward to our catch ups.

One week ago, I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. One night ago, my pain escalated to unreal levels. My regular dentist wasn’t available for 5 days, my oral surgeon and associated nurses were completely unavailable. In desperation for help, I searched emergency dental in Ballarat and found Dana Street Dental.

When I called, Nicola was extremely compassionate and helpful. It was apparent I was in distress and she responded with kindness. She arranged a same-day appointment with Dr Dennis, who to my delight was just as caring. He offered the help I needed, when I needed it.

Between their kindness and prompt assistance, Dana Street Dental has scored a new regular client.

Dr Paul is a wonderful dentist who explains exactly what he’s doing and how much it’s going to cost at every step. Bare minimum of discomfort and frequent check ins make this a pleasant experience. Cannot recommend enough
