Dan Murphy's Brunswick East reviews
49Good store, but terrible online customer service. The Customer Service phone number literally just tells you to use the online chat function. No phone numbers available for individual stores. Impossible to speak to a human being about the simplest of things.
Didn't allow my 11 year old daughter in the lobby for having no shoes on keep in mind she had a baby in her hands after paying she wanted a snack the cashier blamed me of buying an alcohol beverage for her, never coming back.
Brunswick east's Dan Murphy is far better service than online who seem to stuff everything up including the refund, still waiting.
Heaps of friendly helpful staff, non pushy but there if you need them. Great selection of various grogs!
Partner and I went in today. Bought some wine. Manager spoke down to my partner and made him feel so bad that he cried on the way home. We used to go to this Dans at least once per week. We will never go again.
After a night of debauchery, the only thing that could bring me back to earth was the smile and service of Lynette. Smoothest saleswoman I’ve ever come across - I’m now a member of uncle dans. Lynette, if you’re reading this, it’s your sugar baby Oscar and I just wanted to say thanks, you’re a real one?
Pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable and helpful the staff were, made shopping here a very pleasant experience. Thanks guys
Utterly pathetic. Paid for a premium drink + under 2 hours delivery (15$), only for them to cancel the order on me twice, because one of their staff at the Brunswick East store had no idea what was going on with the order. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and this is a perfect example of that.
Not the biggest selection, but a well stocked store with a little bit of most. Staff, when asked were helpful. Great to see that the Non-Alc beers have made it into the cool room.
Shocking. I was a Cellermasters customer long term until they switched to being part of Dan Murphys. The first standing order (for best white of the year) carried over from Cellermasters has been a serial disaster. First they claimed not to have been able to deliver and to verify my age (!) this nonsense was blown up as I have surveillance cameras out side and on my door. Absolutely no record. No efforts have been made to redeliver. A single email claiming my billing address was my delivery address (after a decade or so with Cellermasters) led to zero action. Efforts to contact them all led to a "live chat' that reported website down with no email or tel backup. Would YOU deal with a company like that ever again?
NEVER choose express delivery. The two times I have ordered, paid $15 for the service, one arrived seven hours later the latest one (today) NEVER ARRIVED. Terrible option that DM should be embarrassed to say they offer this service.
Am a bit over them not providing beers in a 24 pack so that they can make more money selling them as smaller 6 packs. I'm actually now driving to the coburg store even when I live just around the corner from this one.
Decent sized store, good location, customer parking.
Sufficient amount of staff rostered on, great range.
Seems to me it has a good range of stock. Pleasant and helpful staff. Plenty of parking and easy entry/exit. Most useful feature in a time of COVID is click and collect service which puts the goods in your boot.
Pretty good beer selection, pretty poor customer service. Myself and my partner (27 and 28 years old, respectively) had a poor experience after my partner was asked for ID and didn't have it with him. We understood not being able to be serviced following this, however the lecture we then received after we explained why he didn't have it on him (he's waiting for a new licence in the mail) about needing to carry ID at all times was both inappropriate and unprofessional. We know what the rules are and had not put up a fight, just expressed disappointment and explained the situation. Not what either of us needed during this lockdown. We both left feeling upset and embarrassed. Came back with ID to purchase what we wanted but I can't see us going back to this store again after this experience.
Limited selection of beers and wines for a Dan's. Good selection of guns.
Very friendly staff.
An excellent local with a huge selection at great prices, and staff who are always happy to say hello. Can't recommend this place enough.
They have every drink imaginable, except one. And that one drink is the one thing I was thirsting for more than any other: the Elixir of Life (beer).
Barber was just a kid, clearly an apprentice with no oversight. Haircut so bad I had to shave my head when I got home.
It's not the easiest location to find but this does carry most brands of alcohol in general,
I'm a little bit more interested in baileys but if they don't have it I'm happy to set my sights upon thy glory of genetic Irish vrea
