No used by dates on the dips. Also, there wasn't an organic section for fruit & vegetables.

Great place to shop. Large variety of fresh fruit & veg. Deli meats etc, speciality biscuits, flowers, seedlings and much more. Friendly staff.

We’re a catering company recently moved to the Mornington Peninsula. On the lookout for new suppliers we found D’Alia’s by chance. Our client wanted a grazing table for her event (for 100 guests) in Melbourne. Upon hearing of our enquiry, Kay provided us with all the time in the world as she literally walked with us through their entire store suggesting deli produce, groceries, fruit and vegetables that fulfilled our needs. Suggesting quantities and variations for presentation, Kay excelled! We were able to order almost everything our client required and pick it up (sliced, packaged and ready) on the day of our event.
And the client? She was ecstatic! Everyone raved about the quality and flavour of the food, there was PLENTY (variety and quantity) on offer all night and our client was able to take platters of food back to her place as the party continued.

I was impressed with the range of fruit and vegetables when I visited the store, and thought the quality was good, and the prices were competitive. What spoilt the visit for me was the lecturing and condescending manner in which the sales person treated me when I didn't put the basket down in the right place. I didn't appreciate being treated like an idiot, especially as it was the first time I had been in the store and wasn't familiar with their set up.

I buy every week for my juice bar. D'Alias has fair prices, great service, and good quality stock. I also love the shop, which has a wide variety of deli, grocery and import items. It's an asset to the Rosebud area and constantly busy for good reason. Elena from Oh My Juice in Dromana.

Great to see the D'Alia brothers back too

They may be cheaper than most fresh produce outlets, but they slug you at the register when you pay with any eftpos card. When I challenged the staff they told me that when they enter the price on the till they have to select the blue line if an eftpos card is used and that blue line adds a cost on. There are no signs informing of this at all. I would have thought that was against the law for cash eftpos cards.
In response to your reply Kaye, I simply add that it isn't about 1 cent, it is about the principle of rounding legally, which your business isn't. My sale ended with a 45 and it should not have been rounded at all, but it was rounded up to 46. The staffer said nothing about rounding at all. Both staff members said it was because of using an eftpos card.
