Rang Daisy on a Tuesday afternoon to order a cubic metre of pine bark for delivery Wednesday morning. I was advised it would arrive between 8am and 12noon - the delivery arrived promptly at 8am and the driver rang me before tipping the load, as I had requested. Super efficient, with the early delivery allowing me to get on with the job straight away, in the cool of the morning. Very happy with the service and product:)

The driver was an hour late, due to traffic, but great service all round from phone sale to delivery.

Rang up last weekend and ordered 1 cubic meter of lawn mix. I live 500m away and they charged me $40 + GST for delivery.its not the end of the world but seriously I live in Ashwood how do you justify that.

Poor quality garden mulch and even worse customer service to resolve a complaint about the excess amount of broken glass and plastic rubble in moisture mulch. It wasn't cheap either, at $64 plus $30 delivery. SHOP around!

Forklift driver has a temper and front desk dont really seem like they care for customers. Good quality products though

Worst firewood load I’ve ever received. About half of it I had to split down to usable sizes and once I was doing that I found it still wet/ unseasoned so it’s really difficult and inefficient to burn. When I rang to tell them, to their credit he offered to replace large pieces for smaller sizes If I took it there, but really by the time I loaded the trailer etc etc why would I bother. He also said that if I could source red gum split down smaller than theirs it would cost $500+ per ton which is simply not true. I bought 3 tons last year at around 400 or less delivered and I’ve been using wood burners for 30 years nearly non stop so I’m not new to firewood. That said I have had good experiences at daiseys before but they really need a new Red gum supplier

Ashwood - Wet fire wood, does not burn and dirty, not split. Bette off going to the petrol station.

Cheating and dishonest, I ordered 5 cubic meters of soil, but they just gave me 3 cubic meters. The man in reception is very rude and doesn’t know how to service customers. Never order in Ashwood Daisy’s!

Redgum Firewood - be careful - disappointing
I recently ordered 1 tonne of split redgum firewood
What I actually received:
- a mixture of redgum and other gum, possibly spotted gum and ironbark?
- only half of it split (so I need to now split it by hand, some of it I cant spilt)
- some of of it hasn't dried out enough yet so it doesn't burn great (yet - which is a bit of a nuisance as I need to be able to burn it now during winter)
- a half barrow of soil and bits and pieces of wood
- disappointment at having supported local business that I've used for 20+ years to get not really what I ordered

The reception wasn't great, you have to dig them to pull out info. I just took the quote, looks reasonable but yet to try their garden soil. Delivery charge is 30$ when I'm just next door to them within 3 kms. They only have one variety of garden soil for veggies, the texture looked good, not filled with wood chips and barks. Will update if I buy from there, cheers

Ashwood daises.
First time great delivery services, second time no so good.
Truck was away too big, I wasn’t informed of that even after I told them to have a look at the first delivery requirements.
Manager refused to send a smaller truck unless 25 dollars fee is paid again.really less than3km distance
Manager has no customer service.
I’ll never buy from them again

Helpful staff, reasonable prices, fast service. Only issue is my ute is on the low side and can't get out the back gate when loaded.

Daisy's, please allow customers to purchase compost and other products without plastic. There must be a way to achieve this while complying with work safe requirements.

Plastic lasts forever, it breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces, causing continuous damage to our soils, waterways and our bodies.

Now is the time to prioritise environment and health over convenience.
