Business is run nationally by an amateur, sad to hear how sales have dropped so much as a company but that is what you get for pathetic leadership.

Pretty cool place, it's like a asian gadget convenience store. Products are cheap compared to others and has a wide range of products.

Updated to 4 stars due to death threat from the Japanese government. Kidding, the range is really good. If you have a place to live, come here.

The cashier in Diaso is very rude! I never meet such cashier in other retail shop!

When I asked if I can refund, the cashier Kim rudely say, I can't! Even no explain and told me I can change other thing within 30 days, she asked me to change at the same day!
I replied sorry I don't want any others today, she just stand there and say, can't refund to you!

later another cashier Jessica come, Kim only said I told her can't refund without any explanation to her colleagues!

This Daiso branch at Chadstone doesn’t do refunds even for items bought only a day before (unused and with receipts)! Their returns policy states that they do refunds but cashier was saying that was only possible on their terms. Cashier was rude af about this too when I asked her to explain their returns policy. She told me to read it further and I said I did.

Other Daiso said that they do refunds just as long as items are unused with receipts and are returned within 30 days. It looks like different branches have different return policy

Horrible staff. On 13/1 afternoon around 2: 30-2: 45 I went there for window shopping before work. One of your staff (girl) trend me like I am a thief yell at me and check my bag. (is fine I have nothing do it wrongly) but her attitude seriously got problem. Truly think she is racism just because I am Asian or I didn’t bring a fancy bag. Never thought about will got this treat in Daiso!

Think of this as your $2-type shop but for Japanese goodies. Prices are above $2 but things are very affordable. Get anything from candy-shaped erasers, to simple kitchenware, to Japanese drinks and snacks. Worth a browse. You never know what you'll find.

Selling snacks that was one day from expiring? Better check expiry date of everything before buying.

Heaps of house hold items to choose and noodles from Japan worthwhile to try even at a higher price.

Daiso is a homewares chain with a large consistent product range, but where almost every item is (300jpy) 3.80aud. Not quite a cheap a some other discount shop chains but the variety of storage and phone accessories is great.

Downsized. Baby Buntings took over their old location but it's nearby. Standard items cost $3.10 now (September 2022).

The girl at checkout counter double scanned one of the items. I knew she’s going to make a mistake just by the way that she didn’t even bothered separating the already-scanned items from the not scanned ones, it was a cluster of mess at the counter, very lazy and unprofessional. Maybe she thought she could separate them by memory. Also, the store was out of plastic bags so had to purchase the ugly “Merry Christmas” shopping tote
Overall, an unexpected disappointing experience at DAISO Chadstone and I probably won’t drive all the way back to Chadstone just for $3.

Awesome range of Japanese household items! The store is much bigger than other Daiso branches nearby. Managed to find some foam hearts, which would be perfect for gift boxes for the person you love. The other stuff they have is pretty cute too.

Losts of small small things you need in daily life and very economical. Household hold items and Nick nacks

Has anything you can think of here, whether it's stationery, confectionary, beauty, home or decor.

Cheap prices for quality items, items $2.80 unless price is marked.

I always love shopping here. Great quality everyday products in cute colours and same low price. They are always playing cheerful music, it is brightly lit and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It's a real pleasure shopping here.

Love looking around this shop at Chadstone, still waiting for it to open at the Glen shopping centre, been waiting 18 months. Hurry up.

Love this place and the price of products
I specially love the variety of stationary, storage boxes and gardening stuffs.
Had a lot of options for halloween fir kids in my recent visit. Its open in lockdown as well.
But my recent purchase was water absorbant mat, black head remover tool and a pretty shower cap.
