Dainty Sichuan Noodle Express reviews
30 The pork knuckle noodles are great, the braised meat is delicious and soft.
The combination of soup base and noodles is perfect
I feel great
Underpaid staff but were able to pay political parties. If you eat here you have no morals. From the Judge:
media reports there is mention of a contribution of $80,000 made by the Dainty Sichuan Group to a political campaign. While the contribution was said to be a smaller amount, it demonstrates that this conduct was not due to lack of funds: employees were being underpaid while contributions were being made to a political campaign.

Spicy noodles with beef and chicken noodles. Both were unedible. Too bland.just the skin of the meat no meat at all. We left the food behind and ate somewhere elso. When asked for a cup to drink the coke we bought from them, they made so much fuss. Finally got a cup after a few minutes of arguing. Do not recommend this place Dainty Sichuan at all.
Ok food. But be aware of the opening time if you are thinking takeway during lockdown. They do not open late. Wish they updated their opening times as it wasted my time twice. Actually not even sure they open during the daytime or not.
Groupon deal is only $9.99 for noodle and drink. But it is only three noodle options and two drink options; plum or soy milk. The noodle was spicy, numb and oily.
Noodle Express is another offshoot of Dainty Sichuan, and here you can get your spicy fix satisfied quick and easy. As the name suggests, noodle is the star here, along with a selection of entrees and desserts to keep things interesting.
We had the noodle with fish flavoured eggplants, Chongqing spicy noodles with pork chitterlings and Sichuan cold noodles. All the noodles were cooked to perfection - chewy, yet with a firm bite. The fish flavoured eggplants was the most flavourful of the bunch, and it's not hard to see why with its bold and rich flavours. The pork chitterlings noodle had a nice kick to it, but could do with a bit more depth. I love the cold noodles too, somewhat acting as a palate cleanser between bites.
We also tried the veggie combination skewers in chilli oil. A good option for a snack, and to curb those chilli cravings.
Despite stuffing my face with all the noodles, I still ordered desserts to share. The fried pumpkin cake and chilled jelly with fruits and peanuts were a perfect sweet ending to the meal. The former had a beautiful golden crunch to it, belying the softness inside, while the latter was incredibly refreshing and light, cutting through the heaviness of the carb and chilli-laden meal.
Also refreshing were the beverages - strawberry oolong, pineapple oolong and fresh watermelon juice. Definitely a great pairing to the meal.
It was a bit pricey for the quantity you get. The mail restaurant in the city is so much better than this.
Worst experience ever! Ordered $50 worth of food for takeaway, but when I got home it looked like only a third was given. Not trustworthy and will never come back
The best noodle in Chadstone. Compared with the branch in Melbourne Central, the one in Chadstone is my all time favorite. Foods are tasty, staffs are friendly too!
Maybe too spicy for some people (even the ones with one chilli next to them), but very tasty and portion is big
Food is good but the waiter didn’t remind me that we can’t have the discount price for four twisted rolls with different flavors.
My favourite place for the hot noodle soup. The chilli chicken here is amazing if you like that spice in your mouth. Quantity for the price is great.
I love dainty sichuan but this particular store is a bit of a disappointment. Rude counter person spoiled the experience
Absolutely horrendous food! It looks FAR better than it tastes. 10 minute wait to be extremely disappointed
Big fan of dainty Sichuan. Tried all their restaurants in Melbourne, but this one made so disappointed. Ordered one server of beef noodles, some of the beef taste sour. And staffs are so rude. Asked for coriander (there is tiny bit spring onions on the top), ask me for extra $ for super little coriander. What a joke! Worst experience. Won’t come back again.
Minimum efptpos $20.asked for a take away container as I was full and they wanted. 36 cents -_-
Super yum but a little slower than i expected. Food great value, drinks not so much. 10/10 delicious
If you are game, try the Chongqing noodles with spicy chicken. Chilli rating is 3+ and noodles is the best.
It's a chilli soup noodle but I won't recommend drinking the soup.
Cheap and friendly, definitely has some good options.no real issue with store other then It can bit a bit slow when they get slightly busy but it definitely is worth the wait as the food is 9/10 (for noodle takeout that is)
First of all, big fan of Dainty Sichuan’s shops. Love the one in Emporium.
However, really disappointed with this one. Tried it 5 times during weekdays, weekend, lunch and dinner time. The noodles soup was barely warm, no flavor as well as extremely oily. The bento was disgusting compare to the emporium shop. Side dishes were sloppy. Not even close to any standard of Dainty Sichuan
