DAGACH KOREAN BBQ MORDIALLOC

It was my and my family's first time coming here last night and we all absolutely loved it. The atmosphere, the service and the food were all fantastic. They were also clever in adding classy looking extractor fans above the bbqs to prevent the place from overwhelmingly smelling of different foods and spices. My brother and I got a medium combination and we both absolutely loved the spicy fried chicken. It was crunchy, sweet, moist and spicy and probably one of my favourite fried chicken dishes I've ever had. The atmosphere inside is beautiful and calming. I will definitely be coming back. It is toward the higher end price point, however I do think it is a worthwhile experience and will be happy pay for it.

If I could give this venue 100 stars I would. Unbelievably lovely food, such polite and helpful staff, and amazing value. I ordered the Wagyu Bulgogi Sizzling Plate which was incredible. So tender and such delicate flavours. It came with rice. There were four little side dishes which were generously complimentary. I had the sorbet for dessert and was amazed with the beautiful dish that came out. Coconut Lychee Sorbet, on a bed of little diced pieces of strawberry, topped with a fairy floss with a rose flavour to it. Just beautiful. The people at the table next to me arrived a little bit after me and stared at the food I was served, asking what it was and copying my order. My whole meal was only $33. Incredible meal and venue. I will be back here.and often!

Love this place, took a while but Mordialloc finally got Korean BBQ. Fried chicken was amazing, as was the wagyu. Kimchi stew is a must too. Service amazing, food even better. Don't miss out on this little gem.

Probably the best KBBQ in Melbourne! I was surprised by how tender the meat was. The beef melted in my mouth and it was so well seasoned. This was my first time trying to K-style BBQ but it was so good. The kimchi pancake is crunchy and yummy. I love the corn cheese so cheesy, definitely gotta come back here again.

Very good food at a reasonable price. Please space people out when not busy as I was stuck next to 4 loud Karen's.

Friendly wait staff…do wish we could have cooked the meat ourselves though.
Korean fried pizza was extremely oily, almost inedible.
Noodles didn’t taste too great.
Ordered the beef and chicken.
Beef was ok, nobody one our table seemed to enjoy the chicken.
Small portions and overpriced

What makes or breaks a Korean bbq restaurant comes down to a few elements: the type of grill, the quality of the meat and the sides. The sides were good, albeit to the sweeter side, we got the set menu and we got the marinated meat and it was alright. The grill is a total let down: non-stick gas type. In general I prefer the charcoal grill as it creates a smoky flavour. The grill plates were heavily scratched and should be thrown away as it starting to flake and mix with the food. They're using metal utensils which are adding scratches. I'm writing this review so that they could fix this, overall the experience was good, the service and ambience were great so it's a shame if they're let down by the grill.

First time here, great vibe and music. Real Korean owner! Asian food was unexpectedly awesome for the South Eastern suburbs! Good quality meats, had the pork belly and spicy pork bulgolgi to BBQ. Japchae was very decent and the kim chi stew very tasty.

Great service. Food was good and served quickly. We were early for dinner so not many there at the start. Would be a great atmosphere when full.
