D1 Cafe (The Glen)

Convenient location, very brave idea to open a HK style cafe inside The Glen. Food average, ordered their satay beef soup macaroni, satay sauce taste not quite right, beef too tough, macaroni to overcook. Milk tea was ok. Might come back to give it other go to see any improvement.

Absolutely shocking customer service. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I was told to get up by one of their staff when I went to sit down at the table with my 3 children with a pram. As I was looking for a table to take a seat around the shopping centre I found a table and the lady told me to get up if I’m not ordering food, then I said ok I will order a coffee then she told me that I can’t bring outside food and eat it here that was for my kids to eat and that I would need to order at their cafe. My kids are picky eaters and they don’t eat everything so I said I won’t be ordering food only coffee. I then got up to find the manager and he told me he can serve me if I go around the corner near the pole on a small table and take a seat there. I said no that’s ridiculous. Why can’t I eat my outside food and be served here at this table when it is in the same vicinity as the table I was told to sit at to be served. I believe what they are saying is very conflicting. As I look around there are people who have food they are eating that is not bought from the cafe. I feel insulted and racially discriminated against. I AM ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS ABOUT THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED. DO NOT EAT AT THIS CAFE!
