D 'Albora Marinas Pier 35 reviews
20So restful and relaxing. Food excellent, service friendly and respectful. We had a lovely lunch on the pier in the sun.
Pier 35 is a true culinary treasure, and my recent dinner experience there with friends was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a breathtaking view of the waterfront, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The ambiance is both elegant and relaxed, making it an ideal spot for a memorable dinner.
The menu at Pier 35 is a gastronomic journey filled with creative and delectable dishes. Our group indulged in a variety of options, from fresh seafood to perfectly grilled steaks, and each plate was a work of art. The flavors were a symphony of taste, and the presentation was impeccable.
The service was top-notch, with a knowledgeable and friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was unforgettable. They were attentive without being intrusive, which added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
Pier 35's commitment to using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients is commendable. It not only enhances the taste but also supports local producers and sustainability.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out with friends, Pier 35 is the place to be. The combination of exquisite cuisine, stunning views, and impeccable service makes it a true gem on the dining scene.
I can't recommend Pier 35 enough and eagerly anticipate my next visit to savor more of their culinary delights. This restaurant truly deserves every one of its 5 stars!
Sensatiional steak, great entre, desert fair. Wine a bit dear for what you get, wine always pricey I know but extra pricey here for what's on offer. I like my red. Having said that I''ve been before and will go again for the Steak and entre. Good service too if you don't get the new staff who had no idea what was what, but like I said, new.
First time there
Food was good and not overpriced and the staff were very attentive.
Look forward to going back again maybe when you can sit outside
Picked up our JetSki today that has been there for two months in the beginning. I think it may have been washed and flushed, but I can tell you in the condition that we got it. It has not been washed, nor flushed in the last four weeks.it was an absolute disgrace.
Great service, delicious food and very friendly staff. Well worth a booking at a great location on the river. Highly recommended.
Location is amazing but everything else needs an update especially the range of beers on tap which appeals to a generation that no longer leave their nursing homes.
Food and service were great. (Very busy when we had lunch. Manager apologized for delays with deserts. Their service was still quicker than other restaurants and the food was worth the wait.)
Most expensive fork lift service in the bay at $33 per meter for a one way lift or $66 per meter for two ways!
3 star for customer services and the starters but the main it ok I ordered medium rare scotch fillet steak but it come out like almost on the border if rare to blue and my friend had paella it just like soaky wet rice with chorizo that is not fried.
Great service, good staff, plentiful food on plates and realistic pricing. First of many meals there
Monopolistic pricing at $1.60 @liter for fuel outrageous. Lifting fees to put a tinny on a trailer from the water $160 one way!
The D’Albora has been taken bought and sold many times but the Balmain which acquired this business has resulted in a down grade of Services` and a escalation of charges across the board. Accounts my business has had them for 12 years have been cancelled without notice. My staff went to refuel my boat and were told there are no fuel accounts. I met their commercial manager who said to get a fuel account I have to take a berth to be a member. I questioned why government agencies have fuel accounts and he got rather testy saying ‘we don’t disclose our commercial arrangements’.
If you call the main switch number you get diverted to a Sydney number and the operator can’t put you through which means you have to call another number resulting in additional frustration dealing with this business.
The lifting fees to put a 5m boat on a Trailer is $160 one way which is outrageous, the price of diesel is charged at monopolistic levels at $1.60 per litre. Other marinas charge $1.35c. They advertise discount fuel pricing if you register at the fuel dock and have no intention of doing so. We hope the ACCC will take action against their monopolistic pricing and practices.
Have stored my boat at the dry storage for almost a year now. I’m a keen fisherman and go out almost every week. The team at Pier 35 are always helpful and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more.
We’ve been storing our boat here for years now- don’t get out in it much so don’t really trouble them often. (I understand that we are privileged to own a boat to store- but we have worked hard and made sacrifices to obtain and keep it).
Mostly they’ve been good to deal with at Pier35 but not at the moment. These guys are being really inflexible right now and unable to give us any financial relief for a service they are prevented from providing with level 3 restrictions in place in Vic. At a time when everyone is making sacrifices and compromises, this business seems to be taking an extremely selfish stance. They’re lucky they serve a small group of the community and have almost no followers on social media. Disappointing.
Very disappointing that the lever on the sewage pump was so rusted that it couldn't be moved to empty our cassette toilet.
Pier 35 is a fantastic place to store ones boat. Great location close to the bay. Very friendly, helpful & professional staff.
For the effort to get here totally underwhelming - half closed looking - super surly person serving behind the bar who didn't even know what a white wine spritzer was - zero food on offer not even a packet of crisps - really off putting.
Unlike the boat stacker in the Marina, which so far is turning out to be a great way to keep a boat the attached restaurant/bar is well off the pace.
Decided to sit down and have a cleansing ale after a day out on the boat, big mistake. In spite of 4 staff and not that many more customers getting 4 beers was a mission. Took ages for them to turn up, but two only as no light beers.offered to go to the bar to pick the replacement heavies and should have done so, another long wait. People sitting near us had waited even longer. Fail.
This is a lovely setting on the river side, giving pleasant, relaxing views over the water. We had a satisfying seafood lunch on Good Friday and the restaurant was not noisy or overcrowded. Prices were very reasonable, service was prompt and courteous. Shipping sailing by was a bonus.
