These guys are legends! I was after a certain type and colour zip that I couldn’t find in NZ which they ended up having. Flicked them an email to see if they could help me out with postage as the amount listed during the checkout stage was expensive for a zip and would have been an automatic flat rate. Just got the zip today and I’m pretty chuffed!

Visited this wonderful shop today. The owner Kellie was extremely helpful, introduced me to new products & even demonstrated a hand piecing technique to me. I was headed down an EPP road, which I don’t need to create my project.
Purchased several items including fabric bundle, a template & the alphabet pattern shown on their webpage. Can’t wait to get home & start on my waffle cotton blanket. Her staff (sorry, I don’t recall her name) was equally helpful & suggested I take pictures of several products, so I could track them down at home.

Have shopped online before but on Saturday I made a trip to this beautiful shop. I was not disappointed. In fact, I was overwhelmed with so many beautiful things. The variety, colours, designs and layout were all class. To add to that, the welcome, service and knowledge of the staff compliments everything about the store. Lizzie is such an asset, helping me to choose colours. Thank you for this beautiful shop. My only wish is that I could see details of all the fabrics online rather than having to come in store. I wish I had taken a video of each fabric.

I did a “virtual shop” at Cutting Cloth via FaceTime today as we are socially distancing. It was the next best thing to bring in the beautiful shop myself. Liz was super patient with me picking out colours of threads, lots of helpful tips and even some mini demonstrations thrown in from Kellie in the background! Such a fantastic service and a lovely break from my own 4 walls. Looking forward to doing a curb-side pick up of my bag of goodies this afternoon.

Kelly is always incredibly helpful and goes above and beyond. A fresh, modern quilt shop with lots of variety, both fabric, classes, kits and wool.

This absolutely beautiful quilt shop is the bees knees! The boutique of quilt shops. Very helpful staff and i guarantee you will not walk out empty handed, as i never do:) I especially love that they are open on a Sunday (except in January) A good selection of classes also and huge classroom, you are not knocking elbows with students:)

Quilting is not a cheap hobby but at Cutting Cloth you know you’re getting your supplies at prices that are comparable to the big stores and and information and quality leaves the rest in the dust.

3 Weeks ago I went to the store with a friend. Received no greeting and were only spoken to in response to my greeting and purchase. Also refused to cut a fat quarter for me.
This morning I walked into the shop on my own. I walked the entire store, looking at fabrics and templates as I went. No one bothered to greet me. No one bothered to offer assistance. No one bothered to look up. There was a woman at the counter the entire time I was in the store. I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN THE STORE! I left, calling out a loud ‘goodbye’ as I left, pulling the door hard behind me.
Quilt fabric shops in Australia complain that quilters purchase online from overseas.
I am appalled by the lack of service offered at this shop. The shop offers such a beautiful range of fabrics in a wonderfully decorated store. Such a pity the service rates at ZERO!

Cutting Cloth is like stepping into a little piece of heaven. This store is just beautiful. The presentation of the fabrics is divine and very friendly service as well! What a lovely, gentle respite from the crazy world we live in.

The classes are fantastic and scrumptious food provided! All of the staff are lovely and willing to help you with anything you please. Overall I had a spectacular experience and the fabric is beautiful!
