Cuts and Colours

I had my hair cut tdy at Shannon mall.
I usually go there…. I was very shocked to hear a cut is now $40, didn’t even wash my hair. I won’t b going back!

I’d like to shed some positive light on this hairdressers that is tucked away on the bottom level in Frankstons Bayside shopping centre.
(Not too far down from the Shaver Shop)

I am a self conscious 37 yr old lacking so much self confidence since 2020.
I have not had a haircut nor a colour since December 2021.

Today 10/3/23 I had my hair cut & layered. Some treatment to help with dry hair.

No coloring done today, which would normally be a full head of blonde foils, however I’m now embracing my natural mousey brown hair colour for the first time In easily 10 years.

Long story short, i walked out feeling so nice and fresh. Maryan did a wonderful job! She’s gentle with brushing the hair, blow drying, the cut. As she trimmed it shorter she would show me the length to give me reassurance and input if I wanted.

Sometimes you just need to take a chance. And today I did.

Today was a horrible day for me so I decided to go out and get my hair cut for the first time in well over two years. Today i was served and styled by Mei, never when walking out of a hair salon do I feel good, but today this changed, Mei did everything right, she cut my hair she spoke to me in the sweetest voice, and then gave me some options on what she thought would look good. I may have only gotten a small trim but it was worth it, she made me feel like a million bucks when I walked out of the shop. 10/10 would come back for a million more years if I could. Thank you again Mei. ️

I had grown my hair really long for my wedding, and I just got married yesterday, and i was looking foward to getting my hair shorter. The lady absolutely butchered my hair, i hate it so much and she cut it way shorter than i asked. She was really nice so I didnt know what to do. Not a great start to my honeymoon.

I went there today had to wait 20 minutes but when it came my turn I asked it to be just a small cut but instead they cut half of my hair off and left a huge chunk that is easily seen and it's uneven they are lucky I couldn't give them no stars wouldn't recommend either $35 and this what happens never going again.

Was an absurd and ridiculous cost $105 for the worst hair cut I have EVER had if I could leave a zero star review I would. I am disgusted and appalled.

Would NEVER go back to this business again. Dropped my 16 year old daughter off for a hair trim and wash/blow dry. They had charged her $90! The haircut was uneven and her hair was literally just dried off. When i went back to ask how this cost $90 for a student they were extremely rude and dismissive. I dont know how they are still operating. Wish i had read the reviews before i took her there.

Had a haircut a while ago here and was absolutely awful, took me months to grow it back to be cut again somewhere else where they said “oh my god where did u get this done” because it was so uneven and botched. Will never come back here

I have used Cut+Colour before + have been satisfied, but this time I asked 4 my normal Pixie cut+the woman just about shaved all my hair off its about1/2" in places+ to the scalp here + there, it's horrid. I will not go out without a beanie or hat, its embarrassing. I think the least You should do is refund me the $10, plus I have a 10am Sunday appointment for a honey blond colour I wish to council. I may come in just to show you+ your customers what a horrid job I had done@ Cuts+Colour Frankston. I normally close my eyes while getting my hair cut as I usually find it a pleasant experience. I was left with chemical burns to my scalp. Ended up in hospital.

Told the woman multiple times my scalp was burning and she did nothing other than hand me a hair dryer on cold. Never checked my scalp and just kept ignoring my pain to cut other people's hair. Have been trying to get my money back and compensation but I am now being ignored.
Do not go here!
Update! They have never gotten back to me and I have not received a cent back. Appalling behaviour. My scalp is still not right and still blisters! And my hair is destroyed. AVOID THIS HORRIBLE PLACE NO ONE IS TRAINED

I have had my hair absolutely butchered today. I asked for an even length all around blunt cut, my hair is already this style but I’ve left with it extremely short and a huge chunk taken from the front when I asked for a longer front and the hairdresser even confirmed I wanted a blunt bob with longer front. I had to ask her to stop as it was being cut shorter and shorter with layers all over I can barely tie it back to hide the mess. Very upset.

Had to wait over an hour. Asked for balayage and was told the couldn't do it. Hair turned out very bad and had lines across my head instead of blended in. Bleach was left on too long and colour wasn't left on long enough. Was way over priced too.

I just had such an amazing colour and cut by Sara. I absolutely loved it. She took care to do such a wonderful job- I really appreciated it.

My husband got an appointment for 12pm. Got there on time but he was told to come back 45 minutes later because they were busy. Sorry, not good enough.

Worst haircut I have ever had. In the past I had a good haircut from there. This time the girl who cut my hair has clearly never had formal hair dresser training. Butchered is an understatement. I wanted my hair cut short in a pixie cut eyebrow length in the front. She cut my hair an inch long in the front blunt then when I stopped her it was too late and was told that her English was not good. So what you don't understand what eyebrows are? She should be fired and a trained hairdresser hired! There is a notched in line on one side of my head at the back there are random bits that vary in length by over an inch. Unfortunately I don't have enough hair left to get it restyled. Thanks fof ruining my post isolation hair. Now I have to hide for at least another month before I can get it restyled by a professional!

I took 2x 3 year olds for a hair cut. Granted the lady did an ok job on my boys, but the entire time she was cutting their hair, she'd audibly sigh and roll her eyes in annoyance. My boys were a little wriggly, but I could tell before she even put a cape on the first child she really didn't want to do it. I suggest either not offering to cut kids hair, or just say you don't have experience with kids and will pass them onto a more patient, competent hair dresser. $50 for a slight fade for the 2 kiddies.

I used to go all the time, the staff seem to have changed and its just not what it was. Would no longer recommend.

Wouldn’t even give it 1 star. Please teach your staff some customer service, and how to properly cut hair. Snatching a card out of someone hand is unacceptable, as well as going out in public with this embarrassing hair. After calling and being very polite, denied the name of the manager and still trying to work out as to why. Very disappointed and do not recommend anyone to even consider going to this place.
