Cut It Out

We used cut it out to Cut some ply panels for us, they were awesome. I will now be using them to do all our future CNC work. Great price, communication and service. Highly recommended.

My experience with Cut It Out has been one of continued frustration. I have been attempting to get a benchtop template made and now the actual benchtop cut from hardwood panels.

TLDR:
There have been numerous mistakes and delays. Communication has been poor. 3 weeks over schedule.

Details:
I supplied drawings from Adobe Illustrator which I was told was fine, and is an acceptable format according to their website. The cut MDF pieces I received for my benchtop template were not to the correct scale - all a little larger than they should have been.

Cut It Out said this was an error on their part and they would redo the job and get it to me asap. A few days later the job was redelivered to me, except this time one piece was missing and another was miscut. I then waited another few days for the missing and incorrect pieces to be cut and delivered.

Now happy with the template, my hardwood panels were delivered to Cut It Out (who organised the courier). The hardwood panels were delivered to them on a Wednesday, I was told I would receive the final pieces the following Tuesday. It is now 6 days late and I have not been given any indication of when I might receive the pieces.

So far this project is 3 weeks over schedule, solely down to the delays and mistakes from this company.

I am thoroughly dissatisfied with the service provided and would not use this company in the future.

If you are a professional who uses tools such as AutoCAD and have experience with this type of service then you may have better results, particularly if you take their estimated time frame as unrealistic and have a few weeks to wait.

If you do intend on using this company for Cnc cutting services I advise that you do so well in advance of your deadline and allow 3 to 4 weeks more than is indicated. I also advise to always get a sample done first before providing your own materials, particularly if you, like myself, are not a professional designer or cabinet maker.

After visiting many places not willing to help me and my partner out to cut some laminate, we came across John at cut it out in bayswater.not only was he more than willing to help but he also gave my partner some awesome tips to proceed with our DIY.absolutely 100% recommend.our benchtop is now flawless again.also he has some awesome giant kids games there to buy!
