Opening hours till 4am and when we came 2am so they closed, this is very unprofessional and we will never come back here so update your closing hours.

I'm writing to express my disappointment regarding recent orders from Curry in Carlton. The last time I ordered, the mutton pulao was uncooked, which was already a letdown. This time, I found multiple hairs in the pulao, which is completely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. I've been a loyal customer, but the declining food quality has pushed me to reconsider. Regrettably, I won't be ordering from your restaurant anymore due to these issues.

Mixes your saffron rice with white rice if you're white because they think you won't notice.

Zero rating! They don’t have any shame and they have no responsibilities for customer concerns. I got chicken curry instead of paneer, how can they do such kinds of mistakes and when calling just sorry and hung up. Unbelievable why this restaurant is still operating!

When they say big surprises comes in small packages, that's what Curry in Carlton is small joint but great food. Talk about food, it was tasteful, people were receptive and service was excellent. One of the Best halal food joint in Melbourne.
Definitely coming back again.

Took the order then waited for an hour and then got cancelled for no reason, total waste of time, will never order again

Went there but wasn't satisfied due to cleaning conditions. Water serving jugs had layer of dust on it and table was not wiped properly. Left the restaurant because i couldn't imagine eating in a place like that. This was the condition of their sitting area, and imagine what would be the condition of kitchen where they cook. Oh Pathetic.

Totally shameful. Did delivery dessert and samosas and Was a shame to be honest. Nothing was fresh. And can't even taste it. Awfully awful. The stuffing on samosa was so sick. And so cold. I had to microwave samosas for 2 minutes.
Don't try.

The Haleem is great! The chicken biryani could be less oily but great taste nonetheless. Keep up the level

This is the first restaurant in a long time, that I have not felt welcome. My friend and I went there the other night, as soon as we walked in we should of just left.
Sat down and everyone in the store just glared at us, we looked around the food looked amazing. So we ordered first off no meal deals even though, in the window it had deals and different deals menu but they didn't exist not for us. The next warning should of came when they closed the kitchen door.
The food finally came out 30mins later and we both looked at each other in disbelief everyone around us delicious meals heaps of meat, heaps of flavour. What did we get a bowl of bones and watery sauce.
Advice if you are white avoid, it's sad to see a business segregating races in today's age.
40 dollars for a bowl of lamb bones, and chicken fat/bristle a small bit of rice and a piece of naan.

Food and service at this restaurant is amazing. I have tried 'Chicken Kalandri Karahi' it is their signature dish and they actually serve in a hot karahi straight outta the stove. It has flavours that you keep on guessing with each bite, a must have for chicken lovers and who love home cooked special recipes. Another time I tried Paneer Makhani and Daal Mash on the suggestion of 'Ali' while I called during Lockdown period for a takeway and what specials they had for the day. I must say that is my new favourite. Paneer tasted outstanding. Little high on oil side, but those flavours, wow. Daal Mash is something I tried for first time in my life and I am not disappointed. Ali was so kind that he gave 'Kheer' as a freebie to taste. Yummy and special dinner, thanks to Curry in Carlton team.

Tried Goat Karhai and Chapli kebab it was yum. Very courteous staff and overall service was good. Highly recommended for Pakistani and Indian cuisine.

The chief is very cool very kind with us! Food free for students without lot of money! Thank you very much sir!

Restaurants open untill 5 a.m, good for those who loves to eat late night. Also the food is next level.

Very unprofessional staffs that does not know what they are doing. Very dirty tables seems like no one cleans it in decades.waste of money

This was my first time in Melbourne and I'm pleasantly surprised by this joint. It serves the most amazing Indian / Pakistani food. Butter chicken is out of the world yummy. Veg food is also excellent. The best part though is the people who work there. I can only recollect Ibrahim but others were also super cordial and nice. They served the food lot of respect. Quantity is excellent for 2 ppl if you go for 2 nan/ rice curry combo. And as compared to other places around is definitely cheap. We only had food there for 2 days but memories of eating delicious food and meeting some of the nicest place will always remain. Give it a shot by visiting the place and interacting with the crowd.you won't regret!

In the first impression the place seems a bit doubtful, as it is a bit compact. However, they have cook like the most delicious Indian food in Melbourne! They serve you fresh food, directly in the pot in which it was cooked - so it's really yummy, aromatic and fresh! You can actually enjoy all the flavours of different spices they put in - which makes the food even more exciting! I believe they might not have much staff, so you'll have to wait - but the wait is totally worth it! Plus it is open from 5pm to 5am - so really the best place to quench your late night cravings!

Ridiculous customer service very bad have been here on 11th nov and the service was very bad and ridiculous and not worth to dine in when we asked them to clean the table and they ignore it and ridiculous!

Pathetic! Undercooked and stale food. I placed an order online for pick up at the time they told us but they had not even started cooking! The girl at the counter needs to stop working and get some people skills. She definitely is also bringing down the business! I used to come here quite often during uni days but after they they just lost quite a few clients now
