I have been a big fan of Crumpler bags for years, my 5 year old bag is still faultless. Ever time I go into a Crumpler store, the staff are friendly, helpful and genuinely believe in their product.

This is the third bag I have purchased from their Chapel Street shop and their service was excellent again. I wanted to swap a bag to a different style and they were both understanding and helpful in working through the "many" options until I found the right one.

I have a lot of bags and travel equipment from Tumi, Victorinox, Osprey and coach, and I still keep coming back to Crumpler for their quality, support and just smartly designed practical bags.

Just had the most wonderful experience with Jay and Charlie! I came in with a idea and I couldn't believe how kind and knowledgeable they were. Jay and Charlie asked all the right questions and went above and beyond to show me every detail on the messenger bag range!

Not only did it make the shopping experience an easy one, they truly made me feel comfortable and at ease!

Absolutely five star experience and please if you have any interest in the crumpler gear Jay and Charlie are the team.

Social distancing guidelines were in place and obvious. Had to go in store for click & collect but door was open and employees were above-and-beyond helpful, adhered to guidelines and made it possible to only have to touch minimal things.

Brilliant service, I had a near 5 year old crumpler work bag, I unfortunately broke the zip after many years of use. Took it in to have the zip repaired and happy to pay the repair cost.
Unfortunately they were not able to repair it and no longer stock that style of bag.
So without issue they replaced it at no cost with the bag that best replaced that original crumpler work bag.
Excellent service and they stand by their products.
You have a customer for life guys, great job!

I've owned a Crumpler bag since they began. Always the best brand in it's class. I've never had issue with them. Uniquely Australian competitors are now copying their original style. Why buy anything else when Crumpler is where it all began.

An excellent range of what they do fills the store. A sample of everything in multiple colours. Just make sure that you examine the goods under their ceiling lights.
Crumpler has good design, but must always make sure that cases don't incorporate badly engineered aspects that cause physical stress-points that over time will lead to tearing or pulling away or fraying. Stitching of handles to a body, forming perforation lines, is an example. D'oh. Single rivets that soon pop out because they're not affixed to a broad, strong, backing, is another.
Good goods should last until WE don't want them anymore, not until THEY give up the ghost and fail.

Bought my second Crumpler Vis-a-Vis hard suitcase there. Great products. Great staff. Great service.

Love the products, every time I visit Melbourne I seem to buy another bag. Until now. The two staff seemed utterly disinterested in helping customers, and although they were polite enough initially they clearly weren't bothered about working. Might better serve the customer with a cardboard cutout and the website url printed on a sign.

Great products, shame about the two staff members who couldn't stop gas bagging to serve customers. It was a struggle for me to reach products from high hooks much less put them back but they certainly didn't give a s**t. My husband loves this store but after my experiences, he will find a new bag supplier. These two staff really let the brand down.

Great products, outstanding helpful staff, really tuned in to customers needs. Helpful and responsive after sales services - one of the best.

Not sure what to do here. I took my 1 year old $345 backpack into the store I purchased it from because the stitching on the zipper is coming undone and is creating a hole in my bag. When I took it back the customer service wasn’t very helpful at all. I can’t get a replacement as they don’t make the bag anymore. They said it would take around 4 weeks to repair the zipper (not sure why soooooo long) and they don’t have a spare bag they can lend me while my bag is getting fixed. So therefore I guess I’m not very happy with the product considering the price or the customer service. Such a shame to leave a negative comment but I had no choice.

Whilst then bags are pretty expensive they are really cool, beyond the bags the store is so cool its design is really nice and love the atmosphere.

The layout of the store is great and love the various designs here - just can't choose one and therefore justify the expense!

Very disappointed with the service that I have received here. My bags strap has broken twice and each time I have had to wait 2 weeks for them to replace it.

While the floor staff are limited in what they can do, It would be great if at the least they just gave me a strap in the meantime, I don't think it's asking a lot given the inflated price of these supposedly quality bags that keep breaking.

UPDATE: Originally this was a 2 star review but credit where credit is due, they ended up completely replacing the bag after a separate issue on the spot.

Amazing service - and the bags are designed incredibly well with a LIFETIME warranty if anything breaks you can go to one of their Melbourne stores. The functionality of the bags are seriously well thought out.

They can be a bit expensive but you get what you pay for at this place.

Big fan of Crumpler bags, had mine just give out after 6 years of daily use, back again for another. Would highly recommend
