Cruisin Motorhome Rentals Melbourne

Worst and completely unexceptionable part
=> Just taken money of credit card without authorisation, bill, invoice or even mentioning
(Card had not been given to them but been used to pay for the full coverage package in advance)
Do not give this company any credit card information as it is used by them even without you being informed or ask
will report them for credit card fraud as well

Issues relating to rented vehicles:
- Van not been what been advertised
(Older) paid for max 4 year old camper
But received 5 year old
- Leaking fridge,
- broken shades on windows,
- cracks on windscreen
=> Also due to negligence of not mending the windscreen cracks before renting it out the windscreen needed to be replaced during rental period due to more and more cracking, which they then ask to get paid (75$admin fee)
EVEN if paid for full cover AND despite the issue already existing on pickup (and in damage report before pickup)
=>Turns out also no service conducted before giving the car to renter for a 20,000km trip, service light came in after first 1000km

Great camper van, really good price and easy pick up and drop off. Had such a good time, the 4 of us travelled along the coast and loved it. No problems with the van, we had a slight incident but the team were so helpful and sent the accident form over so quickly to get the process started. Would highly recommend

The car is great and the salesperson is super nice. I recommend it to all Taiwanese people to rent it.

Our first try in a motorhome, and we chose wisely. Great initial contact and booking confirmation, easy quick pick up, great 'off-road' service (with silly questions!), easy drop off. A grand introduction to motorhoming - a few more tries for longer and more research. Thank you.

We hired the 6 berth Deluxe model Motorhome. We had never hired or driven a Motorhome before.
The staff were absolutely fantastic. Professional and friendly and take the time to walk you through how everything works.
The Motorhome was cleaned well upon pickup. All the linen was packed in sealed bags so I knew it was all clean and fresh.
The fiat is easy to drive as long as you remember that it’s not a car, even though it drives like a car. There’s plenty of power under the hood and going uphill is no problem. The seats are comfortable for travelling long distances and the Fuel economy is very good.
The toilet cassette is easy to empty and filling the water tank is a breeze.
I chose Cruisin Motorhome Rental because they are an Australian owned company and it turned out to be the best choice for us.

We rented a motorhome for a month in Javier-February 23. Everything went well with the vehicle in terms of engine and mechanics. The pick up and drop off was very smooth, even though the pick up area in Melbourne was not very inviting with rubbish and car seat carcasses near the vehicles. Interior equipment is functional but the grey water drain pipe is way too short, the side table is really wobbly and above all the wedges to level the vehicle are sorely missing, a basic with rentals at this price. The kitchen utensils could be improved, as could the heavy and cumbersome blankets.

Overall a great trip in South Australia!

Very disappointed with our experience and actually returned our van early as it was not suitable for our needs. We booked a 6 berth van for 5 people and on one of the beds our 12 year old could not straighten her legs! No way an adult would have fit on that bed, which was supposed to be a double. The van was clean enough but pretty tatty, one of the blinds didn't work, the cushions didn't stay in position which made the seating area uncomfortable and the water hose would not stay connected if the mains tap was turned on. The van was noisy/rattling when driving and part of it stuck together with tape! The bed at the rear was uncomfortable. No offer of any refund on return. For the price, I expected better. Would not recommend.

Just returned from a 5-day trip from Hobart, TAS to Melbourne, VIC
2-berth van was in great condition, clean, everything functioned the way it should.
The staff in both Hobart and Melbourne were extremely helpful and explained everything regarding the rental agreement in as much detail as I wanted. Would highly recommend!
Both pick-up/drop-off locations require a short taxi journey to/from the airports

Smooth pick up and drop off, the hig top van was amazing, New and clean! Highly recommended to anyone who wants to have a problems free trip

We were handed an RV with so many issues from the get go, with little to no care on handing it over to our family. - Large chips in the windscreens; Duct tape holding things together; The flyscreen on the top window where my kids were sleeping was loose and not attached, same as the one leading into the van; The vent at the top where our kids were sleeping was broken and not able to be open, therefore it was extremely hot up there and we needed to run the aircon for airflow;
The clips to put the cover on the front window were broken and missing; The kitchen table was completely broken; The airconditioner had blue tape on it holding the vents;
The awning wasn't working correctly; The worst one while travelling the airconditioner did not work at all, it was exhaustingly hot whilst driving.

The kicker is my husbands nana passed away 6 days into our trip, the company had no compassion and empathy at all as we asked for a refund of our trip, which was cut short by nearly over half! The communication was horrendous and we are still waiting on a response email.

My girlfriend and I rented a van for a week to do the Great Ocean Road. The van was immaculate with newly cleaned sheets and everything was in working order. The instructions/support/service Crusin' provide were fantastic and very helpful.

I also left my Garmin watch in the van and the company was kind enough to post it back to Sydney for me. A big thank you and can definitely recommend!

Just finished 7day roadtrip around melb. Had a great time, keep changing the vehicle type before the journey begin but the staff is still really helpful with it

Alles war super! Service perfekt, Wohnmobil für 4 Personen sehr gut, für 6 Personen wäre es uns zu klein. Würden hier auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

We had a great time in our Crusin’ 6 Berth motorhome. Check in process was easy and streamlined which got us on the road quicker and the staff were very helpful. The vehicle was very easy to drive and comfortable for 6 people for 5 days.

We have just had a fantastic 8 days in the Sandpiper 2 berth campervan. It was very clean and easy to drive. Bed was very comfortable and we would love to come back and do another trip.

Rented a 6 Berth Discovery Deluxe Motorhome for 5 days, from 10 Oct 2022 to 14 Oct 2022 with Cruisin and the experience is good. Booking online is simple. The check-in is fast (less than 20mins), customer service are friendly and the vehicle comes with clean linen and bedsheets. The instruction manual is very useful. Equipped with full utensils for you to show off your cooking skills:)

No problem with my ride during the 5 days, travelling from Cruisin to Lake Tyrrell, The Grampians, Port Fairy, Apollo Bay, The Great Ocean Road and Geelong.

I will definitely book Cruisin again next time!

Never driven, been in or hired a motorhome before. Mind blown with the Melb team from Cruisin, decided to dip our toes into hiring the 4 Berth Seeker for 6 days to see if we liked it, and we absolutely loved it. Got a bigger size van for two of us just so we had space to spread out, but could have easily fit another 2 adults inside with no problems.
Extremely great amount of cupboard space to bring everything we wanted and needed, easy to drive, park and maneuver, had a great trip to Mt Gambier and back, even though it rained the whole time it was great to set up inside with a movie and just hang out. Great size shower that you can spin around in, toilet was simple to use and easy to empty
Check in was super easy, return was even quicker.
Well kept vans, very clean and tidy on pick up.
Could benefit from updated GPS maps and a lock on the grill door to stop it rattling while driving lol, over-all super impressed with our first experience, can't wait to do it again! Will be booking again and for a longer trip.

After our holiday to Tasmania had been cancelled due to flooding, a spur of the moment decision was made to hire a motorhome and travel the great ocean road. We came across cruisin motorhomes through the APOD website and they did not disappoint. We booked online on Sunday for pick up on Monday morning and Terri-Ann and her team made everything so simple and easy. The motorhome was well equipped, very clean and had excellent step by step instructions on how to use the different functions it had. I would highly recommend this company and I plan to use them again. Thank you for saving my holiday!

Hired one of their six berth motor homes for a round trip from Melbourne to Uluru. Excellent vehicle condition. Nearly 5000kms in ten days without a single mechanic problem. Very friendly staff and professional service.
