Cruickshank Park reviews
46 Such beautiful surroundings.
Birds a plenty
Dog friendly
Lovely walking paths
Abundance of trees.
All the wild flowers out at the moment just beautiful.
This is such a beautiful park with so much greenery and a proper creek flowing through the middle. It's a long skinny park as opposed to a flat square garden type but by no means small. There's playgrounds, BBQ facilities, picnic benches, walking trails, public toilets, and other unique features like tennis courts and a bike track. Nice walking paths. Free parking available closeby.
This is the most beautiful park I've ever been too it's grass is beautiful and its a nice place for my dogs to run around. It's a solid 5 stars
Beautiful park, well maintained and perfect for walking your dog! Off lead at all times except 8-10am and 3-5pm.
There are multiple ways to enter the park, a creek runs through it. You will find tennis courts, a dinosaur kids park, BBQ facilities and on and off leash dog walking areas plus MORE! A well maintained park with lots of trees for shelter.
Beatiful train with a small stream flowing through. Close to nature and green. Enjoyed a long evening walk in park and the playground nearby is unique
Great park. Long, full of dogs, awesome place for a lunchtime picnic.
If flying drone, beware of swarms of bees approximately 30m in the sky for some reason
Awesome little park. Pedestrian traffic need to not block path, step to the side. Others like to use pathways, and walk on the left
Peaceful. Beautiful park with a creek and good walking tracks. Play equipment at each end of park. Public toilets at McNab reserve. Very dog friendly.
I'm not very happy with the Times that Dog owners can allow their Dogs free reign in this Park - Cyling and Picknicking here with small Children is a no-no, unless you come at very very specific times - and even then the Locals seem to largely ignore the Signs. I wish Council would enforce this, or segragate an area for Dogs only. Such a nice park otherwise.
The best off leash dog park we've been to in the west. Very lush area, with a lot of friendly dogs. It's so beautiful in sunny days, and it's very clean too.
Awesome little 1.2km 15 min walk along side the Stony Creek, (from Somerville Rd - Francis St) paved paths & also a gravel track. Walking paths both side of the creek you you can do loops and mix you walks up a little different each time. Plenty of beach seats to rest on or to just take some time and enjoy the nature and scenery. Work out stations along the way to motivate you get get moving. A great place to discover, the the kids walk with you partner, take the pets or just yo wind down and clean your mind.
Cruickshank is a jewel, created by the community to rehabilitate the creek. Treed, green and pleasant. Dogs must be on leash between 8 and 10am, and 3 and 5pm every day. Best dogwalking in the area. Also great for kids, picnics and bird watching.
It is the best Dog park. I can leave my dog off leash during the times and is a great picnic spot by the creek.
Very nice park, great place to go for a walk or have a picnic with the family. Has tennis courts and a basketball ring. Also has playgrounds and swings for the kids.
Cruickshank Park has become such a great place to go for a walk, run or play with the dogs. The council is still further improving the beauty of the area by revegetation and the creation of several frog ponds. Besides all that there's a nice playground, public toilets and exercise equipment throughout. It really has become the place for a morning walk for people in Yarraville and Kingsville.
Small, hilly park along the creek. Nice to stop for a quick coffee at the coffee trailer as well
This local community park is a beautiful space for a walk or picnic. It is very family oriented and has lots of spots for kids to explore the natural surroundings. Please keep in mind that is an offlead dog park during certain times and very popular amongst the locals, so be ready for some friendly, four legged interaction if you decide to attend.
Love this park, just down the road from us. Makes you feel much further out from the city with the flowing creek, beautiful trees and so many trails to walk the dog or go for a run.
Lovely escape between two extremely busy roads (Francis St and Somerville Rd). Lots of parents with prams and cute dogs walking through. Very relaxing but I wish there was a BBQ area somewhere so we could have a BBQ picnic!
