Croydon Memorial Pool

Still the place to be on a hot day! Hasn't changed much from when I spent my summers here in the 60's & 70's, just no toughs smoking behind the embankment these days or doing bombs off the high board (that's long gone.) Is in need of a tidy up but I can forgive that. Cheers, Simon J.

Great local outdoor pool. Needs an update and more showers, but has character. Lovely place to go on a hot day. Has aqua aerobics classes from late November to mid March.

Croydon memorial pool despite being a bit rundown is a really amazing pool for swimming laps. It is open early in the morning so you can get a before work swim in and the facilities there are also really good and the change rooms are clean. The pool is also a nice temperature in the mornings and the water is also consistently clean for an outdoor pool. They do unfortunately have to shut sometimes but that is just an irregular inconvenience that doesn't affect regular users too much.

Relaxed atmosphere when we visited on a very hot day. Not too busy, plenty of shaded spots to sit. Not much of a cafe so suggest bringing your own picnic. They don't even do coffee. All up, had as great day and will return.

We had so much fun, the pool is not too deep and kids had more confidence to swim:) and the staffs were great and friendly.
The bathroom was clean no too:)

Great local outdoor pool. The main pool is a decent size and has lots of space. Also a good amount of space around the pool with shade cloths and tree cover. Prices are also pretty reasonable.

Nice outdoor pool. Good location and good shady surroundings to the pool. Bathrooms could be improved. Could be cleaner. The taps need changing, because they don't stay on long enough to get your hands properly washed.

So much fun, great price for family 2 adults and 2 kids $22 we stayed for 5 hours and we brought ice creams for $2 each. Staff super nice and friendly.

So nice to be able to swim outside, plenty of shade around the pool, while the water still gets full sun. Life guards are not "kill joys" while standards are kept high. Ample lanes for those who wish to do laps and enough room for those who just want to splash around. Entry price is very reasonable.

I so love love love this pool, 29 degrees of swimming bliss and if your lucky you may see the flock of little ducklings

The aqua aerobics class is a whole lot of fun, and using the floating barbells gives the arms a great workout.

Generally a fun day had with friends and family. Pool could do with a clean and update. Walls and surfaces underwater appear rusty and old.

Great place to swim on a warm sunny day which now doubles (in 2020 post COVID) as a venue for bootcamp sessions for Aquahub and also a safe haven for local ducks!

Despite facilities outdated, it's very clean. Unusual in that the pool is shallow at both ends, takes a bit of getting used to but very enjoyable, nice friendly vibe.

Great staff, clean pool, strickly following COVID-19 rules. Easy to book a session. The best start of a day!

Great place for the kiddies, they just love going there on the summer holidays. They have some of the best activities for the kids and a cafe that makes great coffee for the mums and dads. They also allow you to bring your own equipment and have pretty decent showers as well. And yes there is a sunny spot for you sun bakers

Great pool, has a canteen and great staff service. The pool itself is clean and great size. A great option to take the family when it gets hot.
